Awesome jam at the end! This is about interracial love being forbidden love back in the day. This song was banned on some USA radio because of being a taboo subject. Was produced by Nile Rodgers and on the album track Daryl Hall sings backing!

They received death threats and had to make what you need for a us release ( original sin is my favourite)

Banned on some US radio stations and death threats, they was brave to approach this subject in 83/84. Fantastic band.

It isn't about interracial love, the original lyrics were white boy/white girl, Nile changed it to add an edgy.
