"My will is so strong when i've got plans. I close my eyes to the pain." That is so deep and insightful.

that's right "my will is strong when I have plans" and the opposite his downfall, he always mentioned the importance of doing many things perhaps at the end of his life he saw himself without those "plans" product of a toxic and disastrous personal situation and in half his girl and that was not enough. He is still missed.

@@susannewilliamsson8339 What saddens me, is that his death could have been preventable. I just truly wonder, if the rest of the band knew, just how depressed he really was. Have you seen his LAST REHEARSAL. To me Michael looked exhausted, apparently he hadn't slept for 2 days, he looked agitated and a bit manic in my opinion. Next day he died. Paula Yates wasn't a bad person, just not right for him. She was a known flirt, i think a bit manipulative, and high maintenance. He should have stayed away. I think in the end he was trying to leave her, as i read he was sick of her lies and deceit. This poor man, was pulled in all directions, someone else commented that. If you see photos of him and Paula, there were no smiles from him. I honestly think he was regretting getting with her. He was having an affair with an American Photographer called Erin. No one will ever know what happened that fateful November day. Was his death an accident, did he mean to end it all. WE WILL NEVER KNOW. Take care. 💖

I started listening to INXS when they were punk/ska. And album after album they never let me down unlike other bands. Even his last solo work is mind-boggling. They are one of maybe three or four bands that no matter what when that album hits, I buy. To the new generation I say, if you don’t know who INXS is you’re missing out. They were much like U2 in that they evolved over the decades. I don’t really like where U2 have gone at the moment. At least INXS never let me down. Michael will always be in my heart, what a precious gift he gave to the world.

How fucking good was this band when he passed away?
@cosimavonliebenau83174 жыл бұрын
Poor Michael, him and Rhett raised by their sister, herself still a child, with Mum and Dad dipping in and out of their lives. No object constancy, so he could never settle down. Poor Rhett, dumped by his mother as being too distracting and difficult, when she moved to LA and took Michael, who was forced to keep the secret from his little brother. Destroyed Rhett, leaving Michael with lifelong guilt. Such rubbish parenting. And his mates in the band (good musicians, but lacking charisma) knew they would sink without him, so they expected him to tour when he really was not able. What he needed was support, an intervention, and rehab. Did really nobody realise he was in deep trouble, or had they simply stopped caring?
