Ioan Gruffudd singing Amazing Grace! HD

I couldn't find a cut out scene from the movie '' AmAzing Grace'' (2006) when the main character, William Wilberforce ( as Ioan Gruffudd ) started to sing a splendid hymn '' Amazing Grace '' so I did myself. His voice and way to sing mesmerize me instantly.

I have been a fan of his acting for a long time and now, after hearing this, am a fan of his singing. Even if I didn't see him, I'd be impressed by his singing talent. I do think he is one of god's cutest creatures. He seems like a nice lad and suspect he's a terrific father. Hope the Beverly Hills life hasn't spoiled him. Wales is much nicer than Southern California

I keep coming back to this video after seeing this movie in my basement with my parents when i was 9. one of those one-off period piece movies they no longer really make. the transition from his final note on "see" to Wilberforce overseeing the cold misty English moors in the morning....just makes me feel something i cant quite capture again. nostalgia really does just distill your memories into pure feeling/emotion, once you take away the finer details of a memory (exact place/time of a memory or what else was going on in your life at the time). I doubt i felt this feeling at the time of first watching this scene but something about this scene has distilled/crystallized into this powerful emotion i feel now when watching this scene 15 years later.....almost like peering into a dream world or into a past/alternate life. it hurts

I believe that William Wilberforce really had a great singing voice, so this could have happened… … except that Amazing Grace was not paired with that tune (called New Britain) until 1835 - two years after Wilberforce died. A great storyline though. And the true story is just as great.
