My favorite meteorite. Considered the “Queen of meteorites.” Specimens were collected, legally and illegally right after the fall so most of these irons are in pristine condition. There were so many collected that today it is quite easy and affordable to buy small samples of the Sikhote-Alin. P.s. very interesting interview. Good job. 👍

I like this Russian Chap! He is obviously protecting his livelihood, and who can blame him..I bought my meteorite fragments in around 2000 from a Russian mineral dealer[looked like an old hippy] at a rock and gem fair..I remember finding as a kid a ''meteorite'' in chalk soil, rounded, like a cannonball, but in later life, i saw that it was a pyrite nodule or something similar..Re S.A meteorites, I prefer the melted individual type as opposed to the torn shrapnel type.

Whoever owns this station i got video of meterite on my trailcam and i was tracking its exact trajectory. Well i got pitchers to run by you to see if can get your opinion

Watched a large meteor come down two nights ago. Just before the tree line it fragmented and I watched glowing embers continue toward the ground. Hard to determine just how far away it came down...5 miles, 10, 15.
