I have a few of the small meteorite fragments from this..some are smooth and look ''melted'' and are massively heavy for size..the metal looks melted as if it has been molten then cooled-the surface is pitted,it was interesting to see the area in which the meteorite fell.

I wonder if Russia has opened up this area for tourist visitors. This is very interesting. Notice the biplanes in use and also note that 10 yrs later the USSR launched the world's first satellite in efforts to dominate air and space technology over the US. If only those of us in countries with adequate resources could redirect our technological efforts towards healing illness, feeding the world, and working towards peace and prosperity for a change, instead of the race towards military superiority.
