Fantastic video guys - you make me laugh so much. This video has it all - beautiful scenery, amazing history & seafood - and being attacked by highland cows & how not to make a fire on the beach lol 😆 Iona is so beautiful and sadly somewhere I've never been. Your gorgeous video has put it right up my list of places to visit for next year. The seafood you had looked sensational and well done for plunging in without a wetsuit - it looked so invigorating and is another thing you've inspired me to do next year. Can't wait to see your next video :-)

Hey Ewan that Highland Cow was a bull! You can tell by the shape of the horns. Don't go near them if there are young ones about. You could try swimming back to Mull LOL! 😄😄

Loved this video! I hope to go back to Scotland someday......such a beautiful place! And appreciated your honesty about how stupid it was to try to pet the coo !!! I LOVE the beasties!!! I probably would have tried to pet one too! One of my niece's loved Iona......I didn't visit there when I went, but next time it will be on my list! Thank you for your video!

This was the end of June and the water was very cold!! I don’t know exact temperature but it felt icy. Hopefully in Sept it will be warmer for you. Have fun!

Hi brilliant video. Did you go there in October? I'm going to Mull next August and will cycle across to Iona for the day. Just wondering whether the sea will be warmer for a swim :)

Thank you for your lovely comment.😊👍we were there around the end of June. I reckon August will be a good time to go. Might be quite busy as schools will still be on holiday. To be honest the sea is pretty cold most of the year.🥶 However if you can get a bit of sunshine on your back that always helps. It is worth a visit. Magical beautiful place. Hope you enjoy your trip.🙏
