Iona, you asked what the people want to see and I think you hit it right on the nose with the Peter Alliss comments: for me, I want to see, feel, experience the occasions with that wry depth of wit and humour... you can absolutely bring that to modern tv screens and you certainly have the presence, intelligence, creativity and ability to express and paint the pictures evocatively. You can bring golf on screen to life and add layers to the experience. Wishing you continued success and hope the producers give you the time to 'linger' on the moments...

Both Iona and Inci are superb at what they do, they both have a special quality about them and I am so glad they are both featuring more and more in the Sky Sports coverage. I agree that there was something different about commentators from years ago; however, there were times when they just talk about nonsense to fill time, which can be frustrating. I respected Ewan Murray's commentary during Tiger's walk up the 18th at St Andrews this year, he said nothing for a good couple of minutes, then when he did finally say something, it was with a genuinely emotional crack in his voice ... it was perfect.

Iona is relatively new to me... saw her on a random KZbin a few weeks ago, and now I see her everywhere. I wish we had her commentating on the US broadcasts... I'm so sick of Azinger, and can't believe Feherty is bailing to LIV. So lame. Anyhoo... Iona is cool.

100% slow things down. Not to rag on LIV but I was watching LIV this weekend and they don't even show you the full shot before they move onto the next person. It really irritated me! Slow it down.. Show it all!! Show us what we don't even think we need to see!
