Next video can you make both decks lists post rotation, I noticed that the raging bolt list was playing trekking shoes and that card rotates when iono’s Pokemon come out.

That's true, the Bolt list is not updated yet. We just wanted to test out Iono's deck against something good we know. I know it's not 100% accurate but it's just to show off gameplay for the Iono's deck. ;)

Technically this counts as an Expanded match, since by the time Journey Together comes out, Radiant Greninja will rotate haha. I like it tho! Makes you wonder how strong the new cards would have been in the current format.

Very nice game! If raging bolt hit heads on any of those catchers it would've been his game, but that's the risk of running coin-flip-dependant cards! Will wait to see more Journey Together testing!

Just a suggestion, but when testing the Journey together cards it might be better to play them as if rotation has already happened, since the new cards won't be legal until then

Yeah, this set is going to be released around the same period as rotation. The Raging Bolt might not be adjusted but normally there are no rotating cards in the Iono deck.

For the games I have played so far, it was ok. Gave me the same vibes as my Miraidon ex deck with 15-16 energies. Might need some tweaks, but the direction is there.

Don’t forget Belly Bolts weakness is fighting. So raging bolt only had to discard 2 energy instead of 4. But great match
