If Apple paid him, he would be under the control of Apple. Apple is very controlling and they’re firing a lot of employees and they don’t pay well and independent reviewer. He can tell the good and the bad without having to look at the company directories you’re always better off with an independent reviewer. That’s what I do. Nobody buys my time on my recommendations.

@@BrandonButch So I’m on iOS 17 and I need help whenever I go to the iTunes Store and go to the bottom There’s a section to type in your Apple ID and so I did that and I scrolled down to where it says “hidden purchases” because I need to unhide some music that I previously installed but when I tapped on the “hidden purchases” tab it said you do not have any purchased apps so now I can’t unhide any of my older music… I don’t know if this is an intended change or this is a bug… plz help

Yeah, since it only expects a landscape rotation and you being on a charger. It doesn’t matter what type, though. That way, I can switch to my 5W charger to charge my phone at night and put less strain on it that way.

You mentioned that for Standby it has to be on a Magsafe or Magsafe compatible charger. You can plug it in with a cable and turn it sideways and it will activate. It does work more consistently on a MagSafe charger for me.

There's also a new AirDrop feature: now it shows the notification with circle progress bar when you share a big file (a movie from other app for e.g.). It's also shown on Lock Screen but the animation is bugged for me on iPhone 13 Pro.

Been having problems with safari when half of my tabs disappear and my iPhone crashes and sometimes apps not showing up and same with apps crashing and delay and taking screenshots I look at the photo and it’s not clear it is like blurry or something and widget Smith my photo widgets are sometimes blank also with tab groups not showing up in safari

Hey Brandon I am not sure if you would happen to know about this being a bug or intentional from Apple. When you make a custom sound using the garage band method it doesn’t show up on the “text tones” section but it does appear on the “ringtones” section on the full release or iOS 17.

@@just3ofus721 So far while using it on my 13 pro it seems to be fully functioning fine.The only bugs I have experienced are UI bugs but in terms of normal function it’s working great-Also the experience can actually seem faster at times simply because of the features they added such as predictive text-It makes typing so much better-Anyway as always everyone’s experience is different but so far it’s very smooth.

In iOS 17, I noticed that the default notification tone is changed to - rebound instead of tri-tone. And now, it is too quiet. I hope that they fix this in the upcoming build ASAP.

If you have custom text tones, DO NOT CHANGE THEM OR PLAY AROUND WITH THE NEW SOUNDS!! There's a bug where custom ring/text tones will show up in the ringtones list but not the text tone section, only allowing default text tones. Can someone on the beta please file this as a bug in the Feedback app? EDIT: This applies to any of the alert sound you can change aside from ringtones.

What a great video - I have had to split and watch it in parts but great tips. My only thing is when in standby using sleep focus you can’t have the always on display on, it goes to sleep which is a bummer as I love this feature but I use sleep focus at night time

For StandBy it doesn’t actually need to be a MagSafe charger. I have mine just plugged in and propped up on a phone holder, and it switches to the new StandBy mode when sideways.
