I've been an Android user for most of my life and it's been a few months since I switched to apple and I honestly love it. The updates are what sold me to switch over. Great video as always. Thanks for the stellar content and instructions! I have a couple issues (maybe bugs?). I have an iPhone 13 and it is updated to iOS 16. When you turned your calendar sideways on iOS 16, I didn’t see the new view (only the old weird zoomed in view on iOS 15). I also can’t see the duplicate photos tab in the albums section of the photos app. Thoughts? Could they be bugs?

I am blind and I use voiceover and I am experiencing this issue. I am currently running iOS 16 on my iPhone SE 2020. I have disabled the control center and the notification center from the lock screen in the touch ID and passcode category in settings. However, I have found that a person is still able to access the notification center when the phone is locked with this new update. When I press the lock button to unlock my device, and I flick to the right, there is a button that says show notifications. If you double tap this button, it’ll then show you all of your notifications in the notification center even if you have disabled the notification center in the touch ID and passcode settings.

I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and enjoy understanding how to use the new features that will be in the upcoming iOS. I’m always excited about the new releases of iOS each year. My problem is we haven’t gotten anything groundbreaking like in older versions. Apple used to take a function that you could only get in third-party apps and make it part of the general OS. The past few updates just seem to be customizing/personalizing your phone for your own usage, which probably great for a lot of people. I don’t change the look of my phone at all. I have an iPhone 14 Pro but I’m still using the same wallpaper and layout from my iPhone 6. I get new apps and update my settings but I’m not a fan of things changing each day or every time you unlock your phone. I think until we have a major advancement in technology this is just how it’s going to be. I never use the focus modes; change my wallpaper, keep up with the weather, use the calendar, or have a lot of photos. I also don’t like how a lot of the new apple watch features don’t work a SE watch. I’m not able to get the screen mirroring to work between an iPhone 14 Pro and an apple watch SE. I do like the battery percentage and some of the widgets on the lock screen. Now that I’ve setup them up, I’m not going to change anything. I really hope more third-party apps will come out with widgets/ribbons that will work with both on the lock screen widgets and the ribbons. I do wish there was a way to customize the ribbons. I like the banner ribbons the best and not all apps have that style. Being able to choose the style and have them show what you really want, instead of just a very summary would be great.

The duplicates feature under Utilities is missing on my iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 16. I was able to fix the issue by soft resetting my phone.

Bugs I found: 1. Siri suggestions in spotlight search does not show up instantly if there’s a time gap. Ex: Locked my phone > Away for a while > Unlocked and accessed spotlight search > Siri suggestions missing unless I type something. 2. Notifications summary animation is gittery when scrolled in a fast motion. (Stacked notifications)
