On the shortcut action, there should be an option to show more. It is a greater than sign in a circle (>). There you would see an option to toggle show when run, you need to turn that off.

There is no good way to automate that with shortcuts. But… you could setup a focus mode that will always be enabled your phone. While setting up the focus mode you can filter that certain contacts. In that case, when the focus mode is enabled, the call from a filtered contact will go to voicemail automatically.

Thank you! Regarding power button, shortcuts can’t disable it. The only button it can affect is the action button on the iPhone 15 pro models.

I have downloaded your "Birthday Messages" and it works perfectly per see! However I cannot get it working as an Automation without being prompted to Send the iMessage when it is "awoken"... I am sure the problem is on my side, but could you share the "code" for how to get the iMessage sent without any user intervention? Many thanks in advance for your help and support here :)

On your automation, there is an option to let an automation run without user confirmation. If you go back to your automation, tap on the trigger (it should say the time of automation), and ensure “run immediately” is checked (instead of “run after confirmation”)

Shortcuts has an action to use regex and that will allow you to forwards only the relevant messages. let's discuss it in detail on discord. hit me up there (link should be on my channel page).

Hello! Thank you for the tutorial, this is very much helpful and highly appreciated. This worked for me. For the people who are getting a prompt to Send/Cancel, towards the end of the command, I.e. the command right above the “End Repeat”, if you tap on the (>) you’ll find “Show When Run” toggle it off. @GeetMadan - the issue I’m experiencing is I’m unable to send Happy Birthday message with names to different recipients… example: HBday NAME… if SRK and HR two different people have birthday on the same day, the message is sent like “HBday SRK HR” to both the recipients and not separately “HBday SRK” “HBday HR” Please advice

For the names being repeated, you will need to start the repeat action right after the get contacts action. Then have the send message action. Could you build a automated away script (in best case based on calendar entrys)? So when receiving a message on Whatsapp and your calendar is at that time blocken reply with "sorry, i''m on a meeting....".....or based on a focus setting

There is an error in the automation because when we send the message it doesnt go automatically, It asks whether to send a not and then it keeps cycling probably because my a ddress book is too big

Maybe you can try disabling the show when run toggle on your send message action. Either way, I didn't expect it to be used this way but I am guessing if a shortcut tries to spam your entire address book, ios probably has guard rails against that.

It would be a different automation. You will need to create a message automation based on content. In the automation itself you would be able to add the send message action from WhatsApp.
