iOS, iPadOS, and Apple Intelligence (Initial Thoughts)

Lots of stuff at WWDC24 this year! I've been playing with iOS and iPadOS! And I also have some thoughts on Apple Intelligence. So let's discuss it!

Something I noticed immediately: In regards to AI generation (music, images etc) Apple seems to be sticking steadfastly to certain values: They appear to be purposely avoiding anything that approaches the "uncanny valley". With music/Logic, it is of note that the major tool that is highlighted in the separation of tracks. So this gives creators a tool, but avoids trying to create the final product itself, and thus avoids trying to emulate anyone or anything. With any image generation, it is notoworthy that they do NOT include "photo realism" or anything similar in their styles. All choices are decidedly more stylistic or via an artistic approach, not trying to emulate reality.

Definitely like the Txt with Satellite svc as I travel where there is very spotty to no Cell Svc TY for the AI “Explanation” Still not a fan

I think it has potential in the virtual assistant part of the OS, but the art and text/email stuff is definitely just to follow a trend and I’m not a big fan of that.
