Bazzite is using steam virtual keyboard. It’s horrible to use. Hard time in settings up with out using external keyboard and mouse. Once it’s setup it’s fine. I was trying to setup emu deck and emulation station to play retro game

The SD card reader didn't work on mine. Seeing as that's the only proper way to transfer stuff unless you want to unplug the power and use the USBC port, I think that's a deal breaker for me. It doesn't help it's also affecting a load of other Rog Ally's. Combined with Windows 11, they're just dodgy crap and it went back. I had a choice between the Steam Deck and this, and I made a bad decision.

The CPU and the architecture is severely limited in comparison. You’re also running the Xbox one code textures take a huge hit some with overall graphics in general. Performance also takes a hit. Game doesn’t hit a solid 60 even on the one x

I didn't have an xbox steering wheel, but I did have an Xbox 360 guitar. Like an actual guitar, with strings. It was meant to go with a Guitar Hero/Rock Band knock-off called Power Gig. It wasn't very good. I didn't even put 30 minutes into the game.

I have 2 of them, both 32GB RAM and 1-2TB SSD. They're a bit of a boondoggle. Too much Thunderbolt2, which is getting hard to find, and not enough USB3. The fan is also insufficient to really cool it. And Monterey 12 just went out of support back in Sept 2024. So if you want to run anything MacOS after that, it's OCLP. Or you can throw Linux on it. But there's not a really good 2.5Gbit or 10Gbit networking option for it.
