You must start with basics of IoT. Then learn any simple microprocessor like 8085 for understanding how does processor work. Then go for one controller in great detail like ARM, AVR, Raspberry Pi. Learn C and Python. Start developing small application using controller and try to control it over the internet or mobile app. Then go for advanced project of IoT. Stay updated with future trends of IoT. You can also pursue masters in IoT domain after your graduation. Hope this will help.
