We've not seen a single game snap from this team. People need to slow down with the expectations based on one practice.

Interesting you brought up the struggles in Year 1 of Greg Davis it was bad, no doubt. This speaks to how low my expectations have plummeted. 310 yards per game actually sounds really good. 75 yards per game improvement from last year and up 60 yards per game from '22. I hope I'm wrong but that seems a reasonable improvement in Lester year 1. 145 ypg passing, 165 ypg rushing? Even the 19.3 points per game they averaged that year would be a 4 point improvement. I hope these numbers are blown out of the water but that is how low things have sunk. Go Hawks!

I wouldn't read to much into this. Iowa ran the ball better and people said does iowa have a depth problem at DT. Any qb will be better with the best TE back in the line up.

After a few days in pads, new offense, coming off an injury, vs the most experienced defense in the country I refuse to panic. The overreacting to 1 practice is WILD 😂

Not going to be any different then under Brain, as long as Kirk is pulling the strings nothing will change except the players. color me surprised if Iowa offense is much better then last year, but hay, Brian can't be blamed anymore.

We will find out soon enough if KF is letting Lester call the shots, or whether KF has his thumb over things on that side of the ball. My guess is if it weren't for KF that Sullivan would be Lester's guy. I worry if Cade's ego isn't too big to be the backup. But he is getting a million bucks a year regardless for 2 years here. So if he for whatever reason doesn't HAVE IT anymore, too bad. We are in win now mode with what we have coming back.

Both QBs need to play Week 1 with different packages so both are ready to go against ISU and so ISU has more to prepare for and more unknowns against the Iowa offense week 2

If the offense struggles, Lester can't be blamed. It comes down to QB play. Good QB=Good Offense. Bad QB=Bad Offense. QB is the most important postion in sports and it's not even close.
