yeah I think i messed it up like 8 times. I'm never researching at double speed with the sound on ever again. Once I started talking i didn't even hear myself slipping in and out of it

Becht is really good against the blitz and best tight end wasn’t available in all 3 games. Hard to do detailed research on a new team but Iowa state makes good adjustments throughout the game. Also Cincinnati’s defensive coordinator was Iowa states linebacker coach last year. So think of Iowa states defense as version 2.0 of what you just played.

For the record, the 75TD against Iowa wasn't a fluke. Iowa State has had >50yd TDs in 6 of their last 7 games, one of only 3 team in CFB to accomplish that this decade.

Good luck focusing on the two WR when our 6’7 TE’s are out there. There will be plenty of formations where we will have 2 TE and a fullback out there that are big and can catch

As an Iowa State fan, you’re correct in that their strengths are their receivers & DBs, and a pretty accurate QB. The linebacker room has been hit pretty hard by injuries to the point that 4th, 5th, and 6th stringers were playing against Iowa. The run game is still hit and miss and they have been rotating 4 different backs in the process. It seems like ISU often takes some blows and looks concerning in the first half, then make some good adjustments at the half to be much better in the 2nd half. The Arkansas State game was odd because Campbell seldom runs up a score on teams but, something like 83 guys got playing time in that game so, it was still back-ups putting up points in the end. The North Dakota game had a weird flow to it too. ND had one drive that took up most of the 2nd quarter(12 1/2 minutes) and as a result, Iowa State ran among the fewest number of offensive plays in the country that week. North Dakota also pasted North Dakota State last fall(49-24) so, they aren’t that bad of a team in general. Not sure what else to add at the moment but, I hope it’s a good game!

If can’t move ball and get shutout v. Cincy, then going to be even more difficult on ISU defense…which is just a better, more developed version of what Houston saw last week

I'd have to agree he was right, Iowa dominated. They ran to the right at will with Johnson in the first half. ISU was able to stop him in the second half because McNamara can't throw to save his life.

Hawkeyes??? 😳 This is the same school that beat your men’s basketball team, Twice. The wide receiver group is one of the best in the league. The defense has been at the top or near the top in defense for several years. Comparing Iowa’s defense to Houston is funny. Houston doesn’t have anywhere near the caliber of athletes. Houston is -32 in points for and against while ISU is +64. LOL you are reaching.

Ranch dip for plain Lay's Potato Chips! My expectations aren't very high for our COOGS this year - we're rebuilding from the mess left by the former "coach". It would be nice to see the COOGS to pull out a win at home against a top 25 team, but I'm not holding my breath. Still love my COOGS.

@LockedOnCoogs That doesn't in any way diminish that absolute disrespect you showed Iowa State. If you don't understand the magnitude of your insult, you shouldn't be in this business. If you do understand and are just talking trash, you might want to save it until you have a W against a ranked team.

If the Cyclone's lose this one, I will quit watching them this season. You don't lose to the worst team in the Big 12. I don't think it will be close, unless their are a bunch of turnovers, but you never know in this league.
