I’ve had the 6th gen since 2018, now I’m a freshman in college and the battery has gotten so bad. In one class period my battery went from 50% to 13%😭 thankfully I just upgraded to the 10th gen. I think it went wrong at iOS 17

I have the iPad 6th Gen and the M1 iPad Pro 11”. I still use the 6th gen for reading and basic multimedia usage. It’s still working well for its age. I also use it as an extended display for my laptop using the duet display app. Only downside is the Apple Pencil 1 is a hassle to charge, and I kinda like my magic keyboard on iPad Pro, I’ll use it to do my work when I don’t need a laptop.

The cheapest iPad that supports Apple Pencil 1. You guys can buy this with 3rd-party stylus (Apple Pencil 1 alternative) that supports palm rejection like Apple Pencil to take notes. I recommend this for those who don't use it for heavy tasks and don't care about newest iPadOS. *I just had to change a bit to clarify more.

This is the only product next to airpods i actually bother buying from apple im shocked at how well it still runs all these years later and i can play COD mobile its basically my cod mobile machine and its more stable than android tablets ive owned in the past my next ipad will probably be an ipad 10th gen with magic keyboard loved the video

I bought one after watching this refurbished. It’s my iPad just for work. I have an iPad Air 4. For all I do it works just as good as the air for what I do. Digital notes, digital whiteboard, textbooks and Apple TV (yes I’m a teacher) outlook and office and Google drive. It’s great and has no lag. Would recommend!

Watching this video on my iPad 6th gen. I'll probably upgrade though by the end of this year, the screen backlighting is getting uneven around the edges, the battery is not so good anymore and it looks like it won't get iPad OS in September 2024.

They need to come out with a legacy core for iPads/iphones. Would be a major move in the right direction so we can continue using these old devices after support from Apple stops. I have a 9th gen iPad. Works great and I use it for everything. Today I may pickup a 128 gig iPad 6 for 80$ off fb marketplace. Will still hold up for some time. If you are not doing heavy gaming or video editing, this iPad will be fine for you. I wouldn’t recommend 4k video editing or anything really intensive on it though with the older chip and ram.

Bro guys I bought this iPad when it released my father bought it for me at us in 2018 it’s been 6 yrs and I mainly focus on gaming. It’s not good because the chip is outdated and can’t run roblox properly literally it feels like I am so smooth and suddenly my frames go down to 1 and get crashed regularly but for other uses like studying and etc it’s helpful I am gonna upgrade from this soon hope this helps

Honestly the A10 Fusion chip can easily handle iPadOS. iPadOS is way too light for the A10. Sadly Apple is Apple that kills products right away. 😅
