Got one this past summer, a great budget machine for the value. Dated design sure but buttery smooth in use, it's light on memory no question but app management isn't the end of the world. Lotta solid keyboard case and pen options for it too.

@@r-5162 iPad 9 is more than enough, its more faster when web browsing than iPad Pro 2018 and older in some games.. … just as fast as iPad Air 4.. unless you play genshin impact, or mobile legends and cod iPad 9 will be a bit slow than Air 4 or iPad Pro 2018 due to lack of laminated display and lesser cores, 60hz also but still enjoyable…

Thank you, for a very detailed review of Apple's basic iPad 9th generation. In a future video, please compare more directly only between these two iPad models: the basic 9th generation and the basic 10th generation. While, I agreed with most of your comments there was one exception in the area of Apple Arcade games. None of the games, I have tried to play have had any issues. So, please tell me the names of two of the Apple Arcade games where, you had to lower the setting to be able to play them properly? (smile...smile).

Have owned my basic iPad 9th generation for two years and, I have seen no difference. As a possible fix, you can always do a factory restore which, is something I always have to do before taking my old iPad in to trade at a re-seller. However, just make sure you write down all of your apps so, afterward they can be re-installed (smile...smile).

Im torn between ipad 9th gen 64gb and xiaomi pad 6, which one will you recommend for all around but (hopefully) mostly in campus use for schoolwork (i have PC at home) they are almost at the same price...

I was actually in the same place as you, i first got the xiaomi pad 6 because of the faster refresh rate screen and the overall specs were better. but later traded it with an ipad 9 and i’m loving it. overall the experience is similar on both, the ipad 9 is surprisingly a bif faster and performs better in games. then again it all comes down to whether you prefer android or ios. and i can say that the ipados is actually way more optimized for a tablet. hope it helps
