For me 64 GB is more than enough for gaming, I have about 15 games and it works great! Although if you take pictures, and have multiple apps, I recommend getting the 256 GB

Enjoyed your review. Deciding what is important to you as the user is the first step before buying any new device. I currently have the 3rd gen iPad Air and I love it. I am not a power user. I mostly process emails, write docs and make spreadsheets via MS 365. What I like about having a tablet over a laptop is the apps. That is another reason I choose the iPad Air. In my opinion, it is the sweet spot between the regular iPad and the Pro. If I had of known the 2020 was going to be so different, then I would have waited to purchase it. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with my iPad Air 3rd gen. Take care and stay safe.

To quickly find an app in iPadOS, swipe down in any open area of the screen and a search bar appears at the top of the screen. Type the first letter or two of the app you're looking for, and that app will appear at the top of the screen. Same thing works on the iPhone, even though it does have the app drawer.

There are tone of KZbin video’s out there right now about the iPad Air. Yes, the device has been out for 6 months, but with that being said there are also a tone of alternatives to the Magic Keyboard. The Magic Keyboard, best price is a whopping $199.99 on the Walmart and Amazon website, and that’s also when you have shelled out 599 or more just for the device. You have to ask yourself, there must be an alternative right? The first option is the Logitech Pro Folio. The Logi Folio is the only alternative where both Logitech and Apple worked together, which is why this option is able to use the pins on the iPad so that you have a seamless connection that does not require Bluetooth. Second option, is the option that I have opted for and its been working great for me. The products I am about to talk about are still with the Logitech family, but require a Bluetooth connection. However, this option out of the three is the most affordable. This option requires the use of 2 separate devices. 1st device, is the Logitech Go Keyboard. This keyboard was made for the iPad in mind and the best part is that its compatible with all versions of the iPad. The keys are a little mushy, but if you spill anything on this device you can wipe it right off and not have to worry destroying it. Also, this keyboard option has function keys for volume, media, search, home, and multi tasking. I love this keyboard, it is light and thin and I can put it in any bag. 2nd device, Logitech Pebble. This is a very tiny mouse that offers no thrills but is precise, small, functional, and comes in a variety of colors. Last is not a device, but is a case for your iPad Air. It mimics the Zugu case, its the , CaseBot Magnetic Stand Case. What I love about this case is that it allows your iPad to stick to most metal surfaces, multi angle views, Pencil holder that hides your pencil and last but not least, the case disguises your iPad as a composition book. Because the iPad Air weighs hardly anything it honestly feels like your carrying around a composition book. All three options will cost the customer a grand total: $107.00. This is quoted with some discounted pricing from Amazon. When watching these videos you have to take in account is that reviewers get to filet mignon all the time, which is they get to make these videos and have to recommend what they recommend. But, in the end when it comes to any purchase or decision, is that you need to do what works best for you. Hope this help someone after watching this. Great video and recommendation, tried the case but decided it wasn’t for me.

I went straight from the original iPad Air, which lasted me 7 years, to the 256gb Air 4. I do miss the home button, I find my Air 4 can be very temperamental about recognising the gestures. That is my one and only con. Because have some disabilities/health issues I spend a lot of time in my bed and can be watching KZbin 10 hours a day. I’ve never had less than 40% battery life left at the end of the day where with my old one I was watching and charging it at the same time. I thought the improvements with Siri would have come with the software but there’s a definite improvement with the new Air. Having said that though the old iPad is still being updated it is stuck with IOS 12. I use the split screen heck of a lot, I can watch a KZbin videos and online shop at the same time. Despite missing the home button I do like the new model's clean appearance and it seems the new screen is more resistant to greasy finger prints. I don’t use the camera as a camera at all, I don’t think in all the time I’ve had an iPad I haven’t taken one true photograph. It does however make a brilliant scanner and can recognise quite faint receipts. I still use my iMac for 'proper' work, no matter how good it gets an iPad with a 9.5” screen can't replace an i7 2gb RAM 27” computer. I’m also a boomer and find I’m more productive sat at a desk than I am lounging around, but that’s probably just me.

You missed to explain the battery problem on the iPad Air 4 . Check out the Apple support pages or google it. The battery drains like there is no tomorrow. There are a few KZbin videos on how to mitigate it. But my iPad Pro 11" had none of those issues. But I gave my iPad Pro to my daughter. I am now waiting for the new iPad Pro. I will pass this Air4 to my other daughter. Apple is still not acknowledging the issue, and some people hope it can be fixed with a software upgrade. But considering the reports I think there is a hardware issue. Time will tell I guess.

I had the same problem. I have only ever had an iPhone never an iPad . I want it for procreate also . After looking through A LOT of reviews I settled on the iPad Air 4 . I chose it because I felt like it’s a good starting point . The only differences I find is - screen size ( 11” vs 10.9” ) , the processor is better at multitasking , the camera and Face ID . For me none of these things mattered , I didn’t see the point in spending the extra money on the pro to be honest. There really isn’t much difference between them , the pro has nothing major that I need to justify buying the pro over the air 4. The pro comes in a larger size 12.9 so if a bigger workspace is what you want then that might be the better option. For me I am a college student and the 10.9 is perfect for me , it has enough space while also being portable. The pro also comes with larger storage options but for me I will only be using the iPad for my art so I didn’t large amounts of storage . As a first time iPad user I am am really happy with my purchase I feel like you get the pro experience at a cheaper price and your not sacrificing anything major . Overall it’s preference and if the more minor things like Face ID matter to you . Hope this helped
