I'm quite happy with the iPad Air. I don't need the extras on the pro and don't care about 120hz. I did get the 256gig model w/cellular though. As to the magic keyboard, I picked one up on Amazon renewed for $180. and it's in pretty decent shape. It's a nice compliment to my M1 Mac Book Air for when a tablet is a better choice to take along.

I got the 256GB version which I’m very happy with because the Pro offered literally no features I needed over the Air so the way I saw it was I got double the storage for $50 less

I agree with most of what you said. I'd say that in most cases 64gb is enough, except when it isn't. This week I was away taking some photos and took 800 in a day, the iPad didn't have enough space to act as backup, fortunately my phone did (Pixel 4a 😂). The other area I'm afraid I have to disagree with you on is note-taking, etc. A couple of years ago I was talking some classes and used the Surface Go over the iPad. It is a full, if a little slow, computer and with one note for note taking, etc it got my through some tough classes.

I used to use one note on my surface two and I can say without a doubt I hate everything about one note. While I was able to do notes (and play fallout new vegas) one note just never really clicked with me.

Fir anyone stuck between the Air 4 and 2021 M1 11” For an additional $200 for the Pro you get: double the base storage, double the ram, next gen SoC, twice as fast display, Thunderbolt 3/ USB 4, etc. You get a tablet 2x as powerful and good for an extra $200… it’s silly not to buy a pro if you have the money. Only reason you should buy an air 4 is if you have a very limited budget. Also, the air cannot replace a laptop.. a pro is a lot closer, you’re 90% of the way to having a Edit computer with a pro.

I have the 2017 10.5 pro. I would like to get the air, but I am used to the 120….. just am not sure if I need to upgrade. This iPad is great still for what I do. However, I truly love the form factor and the color options.

Upgrade slippage with Apple devices is an easy trap - everything is expertly priced so that you’re tempted to buy the next model or upgrade for only $50 or $100 more. Before you know it, you’re pricing out an M1 iPad Pro. After owning a 2016 iPad Pro 9.7”, I am going to trade it in for the base 32 GB 8th generation iPad - it does what I need an iPad to do. I’ll trade it in and upgrade to the next base iPad in another 4-5 years.

My first Apple product was the 2017 iPad Pro w/120hz. I was a Samsung guy at the time. Then my Windows computer crashed and I lost everything. So, I bought a refurbished iMac. I got hooked. Now, everything I have is Apple. 120hz was nice but I don't really miss it on my 12 Pro Max or my iPad Air. Be careful! Apple can hook you! LOL

@@ArquellEastland Don't get me wrong, I really liked Android and in some ways it's superior to iOS. My last Android was the Note 9. An excellent phone. I also was briefly tempted by the S21 Ultra. For now, I really like the ecosystem of Apple and the new M1 chips are smokin'! My only knock on Sammy was that the new Android OS would come out and I'd have to wait months for Samsung to optimize it. I can be impatient! ;-)

I constantly switch from my 120Hz OnePlus 9 to my 60Hz iPad Air and it doesn’t bother me at all. I dunno if that’s because of the screen size which gives a different perspective or because iPadOS is actually very optimized so it offers one of the smoothest 60Hz experiences, but I really don’t mind about the refresh rate until I’m using them side by side.

It is unlikely for apple to release iPad Air 5 within next couple of years. Extra storage, insane performance, 120 Hz display, improved camera, LiDAR Scanner will cost you 30% extra for the upgrade to the baseline pro model. Go ahead only if you really need the Pro and you know why, and of course if you have the extra money.

Anyway, I've been wanting to Upgrade my Phone for quite a while, but haven't seen Anything that to me would be Comparable, (today), to my 6P when IT was New. Was Seriously considering the 1+9 Pro, but since The "Big" news about the Pixel 6 Leaked, I'm Really Excited about That. I've been So Happy with my 6P, I Did want a Google Phone, but haven't been particularly pleased with the Pixel Line. (Except for the first one, which came out before I really needed a new one). I Thought about a Samsung. I liked Their Hardware. But am Not interested in what I Consider Their "Extreme" Bloat. Two "Features" to do almost Everything, is to me, Unnecessary. Another Time Perhaps for an iPad ? But I Doubt it 😏 ! (I did have one, prior to my Phone). I'm just an Ordinary Person, Happy with Just My Phone 😉. If you want a laptop replacement I wouldn’t go with something that has a 10.9 inch screen. I’d shell out for the 12.9 inch Pro. If you just wanted it for tablet use then yeah it would be great.

Apple took like 5 years after the Air 2 to launch the Air 3, meaning that they’re not gonna release an updated version every year, 2020 was the only exception, also because the Air 4 has brought a lot of innovation from the Pros and the latest iPhone chip to the Air lineup, so it’s extremely unlikely that they’re gonna release an Air 5 anytime soon. Also, there would already be rumors on the web while there’s pretty much nothing reliable.

I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.
