What of the ipad mini 6?, im not using it for productive work like video editing, but for reading notes in uni and watching netflix and games you know, but I'm low on funds so I'm saving and trying to wait till I find a good deal, what do you think?

if it were up to me, I'd save the extra money and buy the Pro model simply for the camera cutout and my OCD 🙄 also the baseline storage in the Pro to the air is way more soo... there's my reason. gripe would be is do I save more for the 13" or the usual 10" like the air and normal ipad? and that's just to just watch dumb KZbin videos/podcasts fuck you apple 🙄

Specked out my IA5; 256GB + Cellular. Don’t regret this purchase in the slightest. I like to think of future proofing this iPad when I bought it. Not too loaded with features, but not too barebones for the device. Highly recommend.

I just connect to my iPhone 13 Pro Max Hotspot with 5G speeds. No need to add another cellular bill

That does work! But ultimately from my experience and testing the speed you get from hot spotting data isn’t as fast as it just being built right into the iPad (and data hotspotting does drain your phone battery). I think if more people tried it for just a few weeks, you’d see the convenience is awesome

To Terren's point, the WiFi/cellular iPad is beneficial, but there are things to consider. 1.) iPads don't support millimeter wave frequencies, meaning 5G isn't that stupendous, especially if the areas you're in doesn't have coverage. 2.) Depending on carrier, you have to do another credit check to get the data plan for the iPad. 3.) That in itself can be an additional $15-25/month extra to your cellular plan. IMO, tether that phone & iPad! I've only seen significant phone battery drainage when it was connected for 6hrs straight. But keep up the good content, @TerrenRule

The lack of Face ID and the base storage are my only dealbreakers for this iPad. I prefer the convenience of Face ID and 64gb base storage isn’t enough base storage in 2022, since the average consumer would keep an iPad for 5+ years. I still use my iPad mini 2 with 16gb storage from school which is overdue an upgrade

If theres one Ipad Id never recommend, its the Air 5 M1: Dont buy it, go for a refurbished M1 Pro 11, trust me. SO much more value for what u pay and its only like 100-200 bucks difference. Buy it nice or buy it twice 😂👍

All of my iPads are cellular. M1 IPad Pro, iPad mini 6 2020 iPad Pro and m1 iPad Air 5. My Apple Watch is also cellular. My bill is a bit high lol but it’s worth it

Just got an iPad Air 5 after it being discounted on Amazon for $519. I’ve had a cellular iPad before, but I’m always at home or at work (with Wi-Fi), so I decided not to use cellular this time. Also I’ve had iPad Pro’s briefly, and I prefer Touch ID on tablets, but that’s just me 🤷🏼

@@yocelin1087 Yes I definitely recommend it. Believe it or not, it doesn’t bother me at all, and I have a 14 Pro Max. Like I can tell it’s not 120hz, but I still think it’s a great screen. I honestly only really notice it when I actively look for it. I’m glad I saved money and didn’t go for an iPad Pro. ProMotion is kind of the only thing the Pro has over the Air if you’re not like a power user

When Center Stage comes out, I am wondering if ipad os 16 has become delayed due to what chipset will be in the 10th gen ipad. I would expect apple to want center stage on all current ipads in there lineup. This could be the case with ipad os 16. If having an M1 chipset is required for this, Ill be mad.
