I got the part, followed your instructions to the T. Apparently the jack is not my issue. Still getting heavy distortion, sound cutting, and crackling. Not sure what the real deal is. No fault to you guys, you were on point.

Great video - great prices on repair parts - followed instructions on my computer while i was working on ipad - takes a little longer to get adhesive soft than what it shows in the video - but was able to get it done in about 1/2 hour - everything works great - just to compare with ordering the replacement part and tools to fix for $35 - i called u break i fix it store - they wanted $150 and said they would have the ipad for 3-7 days because it was a difficult fix and no guarantees - if you have any handy capabilities you can fix this yourself much cheaper

Any need to be careful when handling the camera to be careful of dirt and oil on the lens? As this is normally sealed inside, it's not an issue, but with it open like this it seems you could well end up with an 'eyelash' or 'dust' or 'smudge' on all your camera captures until cleaned.

I was wondering if you can help me out I have an iPad mini and the headphones only work on a high volume. If I try to play anything on a low volume it wouldn't play and give me static. What can I do? I also rest it and nothing changes. I also tried blowing out the jack and that didn't work either.

You may have a faulty head phone jack. We recommend replacing this component.

Make sure that the headphone jack and charging port are free of debris. You can use a dry toothbrush or electronic contact cleaner on the charging port. If not the headphone jack may need to be replaced.

Sorry for a late reply, check you have no water in the ports as that could also cause the headphone jack to mess up
