When you plug in the iPad to charge, it switches to a protection mode and the power decreases. You need to unplug the charging cable, and you'll see that the performance will improve a lot.

There’s no point in being able to play 120 fps on a game if the screen is 60hz cuz the frames will automatically be capped to 60fps. You simply can’t get more frames.

You're absolutely right, I do want to see those benchmarks on the latest iPad Mini too. I am a die-hard Death Stranding fan and I own DS over different platforms (both PC and Steam Deck, iOS and MacOS), but in reality, PC all the way when I'm enjoying off of triple A games. So, it is just very intuitive that tech youtubers (especially aspiring ones) choose F2P mobile games, as they target more broader base of audience.

genshin are an open world game.. while zzz are dungeon base game, zzz map are so small compared to genshin. So rendering are much much more heavier in genshin I think only ipad pro m4 can play genshin on 120fps

It really depends on the person or game, if the device cant go above 60 fps then theres no point in anything above 60 hz but it is smoother, when i switched to a 120 hz monitor it felt so much different from 60 but before i couldn’t tell, now its the same for any device but idc bc it only makes the screen feel nicer.
