Thanks for the review. All my iPhones have been protected with this military-style protector, including my iPad Mini 5. Just ordered the new iPad Mini 6, and will be protected with this product. My personal choice is to cut off and remove the screen protector. Just glad I don’t have to do it ot this version. Thanks for the review

Nice video thanks for reviewing this. Working in construction I don’t mind the bulkier aesthetics of cases however my question is regarding the pencil. I see it can attach inside the flap you open up to charge it, theres also the spot to put it in the hard shell backing however when closed up not in use or in transit does the pencil stow away in either of those spots ? Probably not just hard to confirm watching the video?

Hello, yes you can store the Apple Pencil in either of those locations when not in use however I would recommend storing it in the hard shell backing so it doesn’t get lost in transit

When you lay it against the stand, it's incredibly annoying. The angle to view the screen is too vertical. I wish the angle of the stand was around 60 degrees, not 80 degrees. The pencil doesn't stay snapped in the case holder. Sometimes it gets loose and I hear rattling in my bag indicating the pencil isn't secure. It's a heavy duty case when it's closed up and not in use, but it could use a couple improvements. If only folios were super protective against drops and weight.

It’s better there is no “built in screen protector “ with the defender series cases because there junk and leave a gap in between the iPad and case I will definitely be getting this case for my iPad over all its a nice case

I prefer my iPhone 12 and this iPad Mini 6 without the screen protector. I simply cut off the screen protector with a hobby knife. I simply don’t like that film covering it and I am very careful when using all the Apple products. Just a personal choice

The Stand sucks big time , table not secure when resting on the stand so disappointed with otterbox on this I will returned. Don’t buy it .

Most of the cases I’ve seen for this have the pencil holder. I’ve had my current iPad for almost 6 years with a Targus book cover and had no issues. This is nice but overkill.

the “stand” i dont care for.. viewing angle is terrible when it is sitting in the stand and the pencil hinge is annoying.. not solid and the rubber flap behind the hinge comes undone and noticeable

That’s the mini for you. Think the ip13 pm is 6.7 and this is 8.3. Does make for sizably larger screen if you have a base model iPhone tho.
