I am planning to get the iPad Mini 7. I plan to use my device for the next 2-3 years. My main activities on this device will be streaming music, youtube and netflix. Note taking & PDF reading for my work and my post grad degree. Maybe 1-2 games only. Do you thick 128GB will suffice ?

I’ve upgraded from the 2019 5th Gen, and got the new base storage of 128. Got a non Apple case that’ll keep my Apple Pencil Pro secure, if and when I decide to buy one. Though I’m on the Beta software, can’t look at the new AI features til they’re released at this side of the Pond. I know a lot of people are complaining about the lack of Pro Motion, like on the non Pro iPhones, but it just means I can get a non Pro iPhone when I decide to upgrade my iPhone 13 Mini. Better rear and front cameras since the IPad Mini for me can be used as a secondary camera device without being bulky. Also a 90 hrz display would be a good compromise if 120 hrz won’t be used.

Thinking about ditching my M1 iPad Pro for this one just because of the form factor. Would be cool if my 2nd gen Apple Pencil worked with the Mini 7.

FWIW, I've been using my iPad mini 6 on the go with my iPad Pro at home for better productivity. The USB-C Apple Pencil will work with all the devices.
