I thought so too, but the 11 is pretty damn good also. I actually prefer reading on the 11 inch, I finish books a little faster because I can have a bigger font, but it’s still in pages than in the mini.

Probably 4 since Apple usually supports iPads for 7 years. iPad Mini was launched in 2021, so that would be 4 more years till 2028. I bought one myself about a week ago and it's still more than usable! I have an iPad Air 2 as well from 2014, which I had purchased only in 2016, and that got software updates till 2022 - a full 8 years!
