As someone who uses a MacBook at my desk, an iPad mini is great to have as my mobile device around the home, and on the go. If youre someone who prefers to use your iPad as a computer replacement, go for the Pro, but if you already have a Mac or pc, this is a great device to own!

Totally agree with you! I’m eyeing it because I have the 15-inch MacBook Pro and that thing is so heavy for when I want to use in my bed, surf the web or watch videos and even to go out with it. It’s a lot, but this iPad Mini will definitely fit on my purse for the go and it’ll be much comfortable to use in my bed when I don’t need a keyboard or need to do any heavy tasks. So excited for it!!!

Same page here. I can use my work laptop for anything that needs intense typing and then the iPad mini is a supplement for everything else. It’s fun being a nerd sometimes.

If you don’t need the camera for a lot of stuff maybe save your money with an Air. If you need a mix of on-the-go and laptop-like use, consider the 11” Pro. The Pros are great for media as well but, quite costly.

You’re video pushed me off the ledge to buy it😂 I have the 2018 11” Pro but since I’ve graduated from my masters degree I don’t need to use it as a laptop with keyboard to my classes and for writing long essays anymore. I always like small devices (also have an ipad mini) and this is what I would have imagined for a dream mini ipad device

Absolutely loved this video. You got me so SO excited about the iPad mini 6 ! I can’t wait to get mine now. I loved the moment when you said “I think it’s going to be with me EVERYWHERE”, I told myself “YAAS!!” For me it’s its super portability and plain cuteness, and fact that it’s so light, easy to carry for a long time in one hand and the fact that it is way bigger than an iPhone, hence wonderful for content consumption. You can make the icons bigger by going to settings -> Home Screen and use large icons. Now if they could also have a large widgets button. Otherwise I really like mine and do not miss the bigger screen. Now I can stick this in a bag.

I’m not going to lie…this mini is nice! Light in the hand. I’m a paramedic and I use this as my work iPad because it’s small and obviously portable. I now leave my pro at home. I believe the last mini I had was maybe gen 1 or 2…and this is light years of an upgrade over either of those. I reach for it at home too sometimes…ok a lot more than that lol.

I already have the Galassia Color in my apple Watch and I love the color for the ipad mini too. We use and love the ipad Mini in our family! Use it for reading in bed in the evening (love how light it is), for watching Netflix, Apple+ oder Disney+ in the train when I am out to my way to work and the kids use it for school and to play apps. At the moment we have the iPad mini 2 and love it. We will get the 6th gen soon, maybe for christmas :)

This thing has me so conflicted. I loved my iPad mini. I decided I needed to upgrade to the pro model for better productivity, and the pro is great for that. I take it everywhere, but just from a leisure perspective, I miss the form factor that the mini gave us. And with the new design…it’s tempting.

It will be interesting to compare it to the M1 iPad Pro 12.9 inch. I got the 12.9 inch form factor for the first time. I also have the Magic Keyboard. And I am using my iPad more like a MacBook and sometimes I hold it in my hands to watch videos on the gorgeous Mini LED display. I have the Apple Pencil but I use it very rarely (compared to my previous 10.5 inch iPad) The 12.9 inch is so big and the screen wobbles a bit when I write. So a comparison of the iPad Mini and the 12.9 inch M1 iPad with the Mini LED display will be interesting 🙂

Have tried the reeyear’s pen like Apple Pencil tip? I’m a lab science student and just got it for my digital notetaking. I love it. If really creates a tactile experience with the paper like screen protector. Also more precise since the tip odd 1/3rd the size of the original tip
