Have been doing all the more recent lessons and ventured back to some of these "older" ones. Really loved the wet acrylic brush. Had much more success with it than the airbrushes. Love the idea of somehow indicating if it's a simple brush lesson or more of an actual painting style lesson. Thanks as always for your peaceful, most inspired and inspiring lessons.

Thankyou for your channel. I loved drawing and painting as a kid in the early 70’s but the need to do 'real' subjects made me give it up. Now as I approach retirement and following lockdown, I've come to realise that creativity is far more important to me than ever. I will never have your talent but thanks to new technology and your guidance, I can recapture some of that passion. Best regards

I began drawing 3 months ago in Notes on iPad and am quite proud of the results but Notes is limiting. . A few days ago I downloaded Procreate only to be overwhelmed. Lucky for me I found your tutorials and this is only the third I have watched. Next I will actually work from one. You are amazing and I’m so happy I came across your channel. I am so excited to start this journey and you’ve already helped me so much. Thank you.

Thanks for these tutorials! I used to do traditional airbrush portraits in the late 90’s. I’m now trying to migrate to digital with the Apple Pencil 2. I see the huge advantages of using layers, but, I’m so used to doing it all on one. Your technique is very similar to how I would build color with overlapping transparent paints. I’m learning a lot from you! Thanks again!!!

I must say, your tutorials are incredibly accessible and you clearly know your stuff. I've done two of yours now and by far they're my best pieces (I wish I was more adept myself but I struggle knowing how to create results like this but I am hoping that I will get there). Any tips on how to get to your level? Also, this painting is sort of personal to me. Sadly, two years ago I lost my Nanna and Grandpop and it really hit us hard, especially my mother, who was their primary carer. We scattered their ashes on a beech much like the one you have created. My mum always gets sad during Christmas and misses them so I painted this for her and put it on a canvas with a poem on the back in their honour. This is the view they now live with forever and I cannot tell you how thankful I am that you empowered me to honour them in such a personal way. Thank you.

I know that no two pieces of art are going to come out the same, but I’m noticing something extremely different about my efforts of working than yours. It seems like everything you do is more natural, mixes and blends well all with a couple of brush strokes, while I have to constantly try different pressures, and mess with opacity way too much for my liking. Is there a special pressure curve you use or a specific method? Obviously you’re significantly more experienced than I am but I was curious if there was something I could do in particular to make everything come out a bit more cleaner such as your work.
