Just started on trying to 'paint' on my iPad Air 2020. Am a true beginner but managed to get a pretty decent result. Only thing that is a bit of a struggle for me is that you are right handed and I am not. But I am going to have a go at more of your landscape tutorials, I really like them

Hey James, I am currently working on this painting in procreate. A problem I’m having is that the glow from the sun looks more like rings of lens glare on my iPad and doesn’t look as much as a glow like yours does. I used the same brush, same colors, and same size & opacity as you did. Any recommendations on how to fix this?

I don’t understand how you’re able to achieve such smooth blending with the airbrush. The color banding is absolutely horrific for me. My sun looks like a vinyl record - every tap leaves a stark set of rings in various shades - and no amount of Gaussian blur or manual smoothing helps. I’ve had to give up on so many of your tutorials because of this insurmountable issue. How are you able to avoid this?
