Hi this model A1584 .The new battery has self-adhesive on the bottom. Of course, you need to use extra glue when gluing the screen.

Yes, if you don't have a heat gun, you can use a hair dryer, but since its heat is not that high, it will have little effect.

I tried to replace the battery for my iPad following this video, thought I did it just as you did, and the iPad was turned on with new battery. But unfortunately screen touch doesn't work. It makes me frustrated. Thanks for your video btw.

I am very sorry about this. The screen connection connectors of these models are very sensitive. Maybe you may be of little use.

I actually test it most of the time, but if everything is done correctly, the margin of error is usually around 10%. I forgot to test it in this video.
