If buying new, go for the iPad Pro 2021. If buying used, both the 2018 and 2020 will be good. The iPad Air...hmmm nope.

The iPad M1 and Air 4 are a step ahead on opening apps and web browsing vs the 2018/2020 iPad Pro because they are on 5nm CPUs which have a large jump in IPC (single thread performance). Not sure I would buy an A12 based iPad in middle of 2021 (it’s 3 years old at this point)

@@pchalis1 yes iPad Air 4 is faster than the 2018 Pro because it’s based on a newer chip A14 where 2018 Pro had A12 CPU performance.

Overall the IPad Pro 2018 and 2020 are still better than the iPad Air 4 in terms of overall experience. I have owned them all. User interaction and experience wise, all of them are pretty fast no complains but i feel that the ipad pros are faster due to the 120hz display and the sound quality from the speakers are crazy good like the MacBooks. The experience of writing with the Apple Pencil 2 translate the same experience as well. The chipsets are no much difference as far as my usage of video editing, photo processing and some gamings. One thing I found probably for the iPad Air 4 is that the battery life is slightly better. That’s all. Overall i would go for the Pro, the extra money is worth it.

the air actually has stereo speakers one on each side. It doesn’t just come out on one side…I think u alr know since u used it alot, but in this video u made a mistake at 8:07 And prices are $799 for the pros not $899 even cheaper in japan.
