This definitely wasn’t forgotten. I was HYPED when this dropped in the summer of 2011 as iCarly and Victorious were instrumental in my childhood. Looking back I do see how it could’ve been better as the characters from both shows didn’t really interact that much versus jimmy neutron and fairly odd parents, those characters definitely interacted more

@@Simbala-bq5vy Okay to be fair Alex could’ve been using her magic to mess with some people; I think that would’ve been in-character for her. Regardless, it’s paradoxes like these that ensure that, if I were running this kind of shared universe (on either network) I would make sure that for the most part, every character has a different actor - the only exceptions being actors I *really* had faith in but even then I’d make sure their characters wouldn’t interact or even be acknowledged in the way that Shelby and Tori were. For example in my version, Crazy Steve and Spencer would be played by different people, preferably two actors with similar comedic abilities for some sort of consistency, instead of both being Jerry Trainor. But if you’re talking paradoxes in just the Disney Channel universe, then don’t even get me *started* on the High School Musical series 😂

My favorite things about this crossover are the moments with Kenan Thompson and how “chill” he was portrayed in the story and how he was even really enthusiastic about helping out with the revenge scheme. I also love his solo singing moment. I agree with you about how certain characters should have the chance to meet and the plot was definitely flawed but it’s still a fantastic story that I enjoyed a lot. Thanks for the review. I also love the Sam vs Rex rap.

One of the only things I don't like about this episode was the boyfriend. He is such a nothing character. I get he is a plot device but at the very least give some motivation, even something as simple as he was using the girls to try and get forward in his own dreams. Agreed, the story should’ve been Freddie goes to Hollywood arts and then sam goes too but is rejected by all of the characters “yeah sorry Sam but you’re not talented enough like Freddie” and then the icarly cast goes there and has a talent show off with the victorious cast. Added Thoughts It's also annoying when crossover like these depict both cast getting along but the writers except the auidence to believe nobody in both cast stay in contact with each other. It would have been such a such idea to establish that characters in each show stayed in contact with each other. I hate it when crossovers can't get reference in the rest of the show. I do really like this special. This might be a hot take, but I honestly like it more than a lot of the Disney crossovers. I think the thing about the Disney crossovers is that they didn't really feel like crossovers at all, possibly for contractual reasons, they felt more like separate episodes of the different shows. Good Luck Jessie for example more then anything felt like an episode of Good Luck Charlie featuring Jessie characters, followed by an episode of Jessie featuring Good Luck Charlie characters.
