The material itself is not stiffer. Steel has basically the same young’s modulus indepently of the steel grade around 210GPa. What changes is the strenght which I agree will be higher for a cromoly grade compared to the Si-Mn carbon steel volvo’s supplier was probably using.

Are there any specific for the XC90 P2? Would the XC70 work for the XC90?

hi from turkey. i bought a 2006 xc70d5 and want upgrade my car drives onroad and ofroad, i will use that car for years, so i will change everything with oems, which weared down or will be wear soon, especially drivetrain/suspension parts, fluids, belts, sensors, lamps etc. That's easy for me, but also i want to upgrade my car and your parts look nice. Looked on your site, i think there is no d5 in usa. Listed some parts below, which parts can be use on d5? i didnt crosscheck the differences of parts of d5 and 2.5T but if you have any data about that, please share. skid plate, diff cover, sway bar kit, front susp kit, endlinks (front rear), spring seat mount kit, strud bar conv kit (i think i don't need that for my setup) tailgate hanger ss brake lines (dont think but hope) engine / transmission mounts??? and any recommendation?
