The IPF needs to make a exception. I know if they do it for one person what that does for the rest but if it’s someone like rondel. I feel like from a business perspective as well not having rondel compete in the world games is a big mistake. We wanna see the best in the world, and that’s what rondel is.

They’ve already made many exceptions for all the guys who just did USAPL nats then did the pa meet in Texas including Bobb & Ashton

I understand how frustrating that must be to not compete but if you keep working like you have been you'll be unbeatable and undeniable by the time you'd hit the stage. I love watching you train and progress. I'd love to see you get more recognition. I think everybody on this channel would. Keep pushing forward Rondel. From the moment you won IPF Worlds as a junior you had the PL’g community in awe of your greatness. It’s a shame that sports politics deprived you of continuing on your path of greatness, as you’d have undoubtedly had multiple titles on your PL’g resume by now. That said, whether it’s in 2025, or 2026 when you’re next allowed to step foot on the world stage, I’ll be among the many fans of yours that already hold you in high esteem & consider you to be one of the greatest PLers ever!

Wish more people would listen to your reasoning to make the switch to the IPF/PA. The goal should be world champion and to lift on the international stage. No one cares about being a USAPL “pro”.

It's actually insane to me how the IPF seems to want to slam the rulebook in your face any chance they get. You would think they would want to make some kind of exception in order to get the strongest tested

They should be bending over backwards to get the strongest tested lifters competing at worlds/sheffield. Also the only reason he's facing the suspension is a BS technicality (competing usapl automatically suspends you from any ipf events for 12 months iirc)

Great news! Is it possible for you to do the Commonwealth Championships in 2024 to qualify for Sheffield in 2025? Or maybe you could do the World Equipped Championships in November but do it raw just to make a total for Sheffield. What were your thoughts on Indy and Jonah's lifts at euro's?

Honestly not sure about the qualification through those meets, I’ll just have to see when it comes closer to that time. Also Indy & Jonah’s lifts were great, particularly Jonah’s bench and Indy’s deadlift are both extremely impressive.

Rondel, I think it was explained by you on kotl, but why do you have to serve the suspension of 12 months when, for example, the American lifters don't? I hope the article gets lifted as well, you've been hard done by through the years and it's too the detriment of our sport.

I believe Russ is serving a suspension too. Something to do with competing in the IPF before then leaving, you have to serve a period of suspension before you can come back.

My opinion on this is it is ridiculous for an international body to put any ban on a lifter because he or she chose to lift in another fed. End of the day only 2 things matter, 1. You pass the drug tests & 2. Your equipment is legal. Apart from that end of the day you are an athlete and should have the freedom to enter any comp without a penalty, including one that can give you a payday!

aThe USAPL is quickly going to be relegated to a second tier league behind the IPF. Sheffield had a massive impact on powerlifting and recemented the IPF at the league of the pros. USAPL will be more of a local-state level fed and I think that's fine.
