Lets be very clear here: This is NOT a LENS replacement - the lens is in the phone, this is a glass / clear protector. As long as you keep IT FREE FROM PRINTS AND GREASE ETC (don’t touch the surface) - then the camera will be the same as always.

Does anybody know if the heat could damage the senor? I removed the glass and when I check the camera it is blurry. I didn't check what the image looked like before removal. Also does anybody know if it would be blurry before putting the replacement lens in?

I changed my camera glass only( iphone 8+), now my camera can’t focus perfectly.I don’t know why, can u give me any solution? And is there any problem if I change only the camera glass?(not lens) I mean auto focus is working but maybe not perfectly because before i changed the camera glass everything was perfect.

Just wondering ? Did you finger print ever touch the inside of the lens or anything ever touch the inside of the lens ? Or did you clean the inside camera eye and properly dry it? That could be an issue but I am wondering because I want to attempt this

Use a cotton bud or a small cloth with some alcohol ( also can use cologne, fragrance, surgical spirit).Be gentle please and 95% and up alcohol (Thanks @UC57NP_pdQ4A8cAL0wDCZ1cA

Emm well it is hard unless you replace new one since it is cheap. Otherwise needs to open the phone and clean. Process is too risky

I’m wondering if apple uses a solution they apply to prevent the camera eye from being fogged up and they must apply it to the inside of the original lens but when you guys applied the replacement you did a thorough clean which may removed the solution but if mines doesn’t fog up but mines is broke and I wanna do this replacement but I’m seeing the reviews and asking about y’all attempts

technically, the iphone should be still water resistant even with cracked lens, right? because the camera is blocking the insides, the worst that could happen is that the camera with cracked lens stops working, right?
