I was going to get a new phone anyway as it was my birthday on the 29th Oct so my parents said I could upgrade for from my XS. I think that I will get used to the size though because my hands are big anyway 😉

For me personally , I have a really large hand so I think it'll feel very comfortable for me. But quick question... When you say uncomfortable, do you mean the grip or how huge it just is ?

I’ve only had smaller iphones, this year i went for iPhone 12 Pro Max, i got used with the size in a few hours (i don’t have big hands) and now i’m so happy with my decision, i won’t go back. If someone is scared about the size, trust me, you will get used to it and love it.

Strange difference in opinion on the grip. A lot of people prefer the squared off design because, I would agree, it makes the phone easier to grip and less likely to slip out of the hand, especially on a call.

I have just switched my IPhone 11 pro with IPhone 12 mini....just amazing...I don’t know how I’ve lived without this normal form factor. It’s just amazing, a crazy speed, performant and extremely comfortable sweet pieces of art!

Daniel has tiny hands, the 12 pro max fit my hands nicely. It’s annoying when he states something is uncomfortable and doesn’t state that it’s just his opinion in his hands.

I love it too, hard to wait for it to be shipped to me. In terms of color accuracy it blows Samsung out of the water. Although it's less pixels per inch than my S10+, 822 I believe to 778. Understandably so though since Apple uses Samsung displays. Good thing they are switching to LG next year. They need to produce them in house though.

@@Truth_Seeker1 interesting hadn't heard that about LG. Yes color accuracy is manipulated through software however PPI is hardware limited. Samsung probably charged too much for higher PPI, not good to buy components from a manufacturer that you directly compete with.

I’ve had the 11 PRO Max for a year and the 12 PRO Max for 1 day. I think it’s quite easy and comfortable to hold... loving it big time. Spent the am taking shots of sunrise on ocean and palm trees, 🙏STUNNING SHOTS ☀️

Yes. I totally agree. I got my 12 Pro Max and it’s amazing to hold. I’m not sure why all these reviewers are bashing the size. I upgraded from the 11 Pro and I’m pleasantly surprised how great the 12 pro max, which weird because I usually like small phones. .

The phone isn’t huge .. it’s ever so slightly larger than previous plus and max sizes ! And it’s not heavy unless u are going to put a big bulky case The camera lens is a tad bit larger on this 12 max It’s really beautiful and if seen in person U will agree

Square sides: not better, not worse, just different. A cheap way to make you 'feel' like you got a new iphone. In a few years, we'll be loving the design choice to go back to curved.

So I have had the 12 pro max since Friday. If this phone is as uncomfortable as you say, we really have fallen far as a culture! Was it causing pain? Were there cramps? In fact, the squared edges allow for much more grip. This is the first large iPhone that does not want to squirt out my hand. IMHO, this is the best iPhone yet. For me noticeably faster than the 11 pro, fewer typos, much more responsive. Much more data presented on screen, helping me at work and play. Daniel of Zone of Tech needs to get out a little and experience real life, not virtual.

I had 11 pro Max - so, 12 is larger and at first kind of less comfortable, but I am already used to it. 12 pro Max has also more curved edges, so some KZbin videos are “too wide” for 12pro Max and they were ok for 11 pro Max

Honestly the size “issue” comes down to how big your hands are. I have pretty big hands so handling the Max isn’t an issue for me, however I can very much see how it’s almost too big for smaller hand users. It comes down to preference, but I do wish you didn’t have to sacrifice battery life for that preference.

The 12 pro max has a lot of new features that have to do with you watching videos and movies on your phone as well as a new camera and a new sensor in your camera that will help with the stabilization for taking pictures and videos! Agree 12 Pro Max has some nice tweaks vs 11 and it’s more futureproofed with the A14. But if you can find a good enough deal on the 11 Pro Max, its battery is even better and for normal use you’d be fine.

They did an actual test of battery life and the 11 pro max lasts longer by an hour and a half. Kinda makes you think twice on getting the 12 pro max now doesnt it?

Be advised, there's a hearing aid connectivity issue with ALL iPhone 12 models. People with hearing aids are experiencing static alternating between left and right side channels as well as intermittent audio loss in either right or left sides....Apple is aware of the problem and the engineers are working to fix it.

12 PM is definitely too big for me. I tried the 11 PM last year and after a week exchanged it for the 11 Pro. This year I went with the 12 Pro. The Max is just too big for a guy to pocket.
