The 12 Pro Max is way too big. You’re going from a Honda CR-V to a Chevy Tahoe. It’s a big difference.

The Pro Max advantages weren’t even tested. Sensor Shift and Larger Sensor are about handheld sharpness of photos especially in lower light modes. Good review. But tripod shots aren’t real world for average users and don’t take full advantage of the Pro Max’s capabilities.

I agree with the video - the camera difference is minimal and doesn’t justify switching to the max size. In your opinion, do you believe Apple will settle on a size for their flagships or will we see 7 in. Pro Max models and 6.3-6.5 Pro models? I personally feel 6.3 screen size will be the limit for me.

I’ve bought the 12 Pro and noticed that switching within the camera app takes longer than on my former iPhone X... if that’s because it’s beter, I’m fine with that, but is it for that reason? Should it be slower?

Great comparison for low budget amateurs. But for pro's or anyone who cares about their work... ugh. Max Pro is only $100 more. Max pro has; a 33% stronger battery, charges 33% faster - kind of critical in middle of a location shoot. A 10% larger screen so you can see more details, always good. Heavier and larger - more stable. Pro OIS is garbage that digitally smears pixels, pro max sensor shift does not. In regard to the stabilization footage, sure, if you are gonna stomp around like Godizalla - no difference. But for cameramen who take the small effort to "glide" when walking - huge difference, close to a gimble. Even handheld pans and pushes are much better. Finally, well, lots of videos out there showing superior low light with the Max Pro, don't know what to say except... just $100 bucks more.

You can definitely see the benefits of the larger sensor, with better detail resolution in the shadows, also the walking video was noticeably more stable.

I made the expensive mistake of buying in to the hype of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra’s camera system. It sucked. I’m glad I didn’t fall for the hype of the 12 Pro Max’s camera. It’s minutely better in a very small percentage of pictures taken. Definitely not upset I went with the Pro and not the Pro Max.

If you are heavy user pro max but it have some daily world issues like it’s too big Can’t easily fit in pocket more chance of drop my friend have it that’s the reason Ik. I have 12 pro I charge it once in 24 hours I am not a heavy user just normal Camera is amazing hardly any difference between pro max Hope it helps!

There is an f icon on the top bar, where you can adjust the virtual aperture. You can change this in post too. f1,4=super shallow depth of field f16=sharp across the board

Your iPhone pro max photo's are a lot better on my plasma tv with better detailed reolution than all the other iPhones you compared them with. Would I buy a pro max not this iPhone as I'll wait until next years updated iPhones as there will be improvements. I once replaced my iPhones every 2 years but now it's 5 years due not being a good second hand market now and not great iPhone improvements every 2 years. Was the point of the video trying to save money which is what Americans do even though you are purchasing poor quality.
