I’d completely disagree that the 15pm has bad battery, light to medium use I’m charging mine every second day in the evening, using it heavily it can last a full day from morning to night, always had great battery life with my 15, and also the battery health is still at 100% after a year and 185 charge cycles, I’d say this was absolutely brilliant 😁

Great review! I’m currently using a simple 11 and I was thinking to upgrade to the 16 Pro but your review troubled me ... I’d like to start playing with Apple log for family videos, vacation etc. The 4K 120 on 16 Pro looks very good but your problems with the ssd are making think again. With the 15PM can you record 120 4K in any way (Black Magic app may be) ? All in all the 16 does not look that impressive … but what would you recommend for someone who loves to shoot raw (but I don’t want to carry my cameras !) and also start experiment and learn to use Apple Log for videos ? Not for me, mine still gets really hot with minimal use. I just talked to Apple about it because others say theirs doesn’t. Apple ran tests and said nothing was wrong with it. It’s eating through my battery health. 😢

is the difference in the battery noticeable ? I mean, does switching from 15 pm to 16 pro led to need for charging two time a day and etc. ? I've used to have the small iphone 14 pro, which was really bad in battery life. I had to charge it two times/ day. @@kavashaman496 i drive 120 km/day to work and back home, this means 2 hours of navigation per day, at least 2-3 hours of music streaming during the driving or at the office/ home... few pics... My work chat beeps a lot, i don't use the phone that much, but it wakes for the notifications from the work chat, which can be thousand per day and some are important, so if i'm not on the pc i have to be able to see those... I mean, I work with that thing. I'm not some stupid kid looking to play Fortnite on that device and i can't be bothered with charging. Or being tied to the desk for two hours. That's why i have macbook, because it lasts 10-12 hours on battery for me. This is important.

Hi! So the 15 pro max 256gb is the same price as the 16 pro 128gb. I already took the 15 pro max, used it just a bit but I am thinking about returning it and getting the 16 pro. I would like the 16 pro only because of the 4k 120 fps camera nothing else (even though I am not sure how much I would use it actually). The most important points for me are: screen size, battery life and internal storage. Im upgrading from an android that i have been using for the last 6 years and I initially went with the 15 pro max because of the size, I really like the 6.7 inch, although I feel like I could get used to the smaller form factor of 16 pro. Battery life is really important to me because I travel and my android phone has an insanely good battery life. And also I really need storage space for my phone because I as I know myself I will fill it up quickly. What would you recommend in this case? I know that in terms of battery they are pretty much the same as 16 pros made a significant upgrade with the new chipset. And my main motivation for getting the 16 pro is only the 4k 120 fps as I do different action sports and I feel like I might use it sometimes. Also, which would hold up better in the long term? I'm quite sure you didn't format the SSD on your phone properly...mine works flawlessly with 2 different SSDs (T5 & T7) + M.2 with Sabrent adapter. I also never had to restart the phone to recognize one of them. Might also be a cable issue.
