Regarding the App Store issue, I do want Apple to open up iOS to allow side loading apps like in MacOS. However, I don’t think the government should force Apple to open up iOS because Apple did create the platform. If you don’t agree with their policy, you can always get an Android phone which does allow side loading apps.

Thanks for the informative video. I'm not in the Apple ecosystem but I always acknowledge how useful or, more importantly, how easy it works. I still feel it's closed off but I understand it. It's funny that one of the selling points of older Macs was that you can put Windows on it, or use iPods with Windows. They really try to keep you dependent on the ecosystem.

I do use the 5W charger with my iPhone 12 when I charge it overnight with optimised charging enabled. I never charge it during the day. I plug my phone in the night when I’m just about to sleep. Overall, I’m pretty happy with my iPhone 12, but when it comes to zoom, it just isn’t good.

I like 6 month review videos that been posted at the same time with other phones like Google Pixel 5 - 6 months later. "And this was a main phone that i've been using for the past 6 months" in both videos :) Anyway, great review. But Camera is better in Pixel 4 and 5. If you don't look for super speed and smoothness but camera quality, you could even get Pixel 4a or 5a models They are twice as cheap but camera is still the same.

I bought a 12 on Facebook market for $200 it had a cracked back but a battery health of 100%. I just slapped it with an apple leather case and called it a day and doesn’t bother me anymore. Been using it for a month now best purchase. Once the 13 comes out I’ll sell it for $400. That’s a win in my book 😎

Let’s analyst this a little bit. They removed them saying that everyone has an iPhone charger at home. Let’s say me and my wife have an iPhone 7 and it’s time to upgrade. I decide to buy 2 iPhone 12. It’s true, we don’t need chargers in the box because we got old chargers at home from our old iPhones, right? WRONG! The cable that comes in the box starting the iphone 11, comes with USB-C. That means I still need to buy chargers or just use the old beat up cables that I have and when they will die, I need to buy chargers. That’s just messed up. I leave near a store and 90% of the people that come out with a new iPhone, also have a new charger in the box. Basically, you are the only genius on KZbin saying that the removing the charger was a good idea.

Hmmm, is the issue that the background is just blurred or that its going in and out with the blur amount as the subject in the foreground is moving slightly towards and then away from the camera?

@@6MonthsLater Yes, that happens too; exactly. Both seem to happen. The camera will focus on the foreground and blur the background, but on my old iphone 5 that never used to happen. I mean, when you watch a movie or a sporting event, the background isn't blurred, it's clear and you can see detail.

Yes! Apple should open up the iPhone. It’ would be akin to Androids. Androids still warns you about downloading outside of the Google Play Store, but doesn’t prevent you from doing so. I used to jailbreak my iPhone, but there less of a reason to do so. That said, Apple has picked up many features only available via jailbreaks. Case in point: Night Shift (previously only available with flux).

Not trying to be horrible here but if I worked for apple I would so choice to make people go through the App Store you don’t know what your downloading out there and when they get harmful software they will run and complain to apple. That will ruin apples waiting times for there in store customer support and people wouldn’t want to go in the shop in just talking on and on but apple has a point here. Even tho you can downloaded a apps from online I really wouldn’t. I had the IPhone 12 and took it back and got the 2nd Gen IPhone SE. The SE was pretty much only a fraction of the cost compared to the iPhone 12 and is shockingly by far the better iPhone in my honest humble opinion of owning both of them.
