Just got my mini on Wednesday. I love it so far. I’m a girl with small hands and my hands hurt after a while of holding a bigger phone. Battery lasts all day, pictures are great, and the storage is plenty for me. My only complaint is I got the pink and I wish it was a little darker pink. It’s a very subtle shade of pink that looks white in a lot of lighting.

I just got mine yesterday. I've had phablets since the OG galaxy note, but the 12 pro max broke me of that habit lol. My wrists kept getting sore and any kind of one handed use was just impossible. I even gave myself a fat lip dropping it on my face once. And I wasn't even using it to it's full capabilities either, all I do is read reddit, listen to podcasts, and take pictures of my kid so what the hell do I need a huge top-spec phone for? I downsized to the 12 pro but even that was still a bit too weighty. The 13 mini was kind of an impulse buy but I'm enjoying it so much. It feels like the ideal size for a phone and it's so cute too! Starlight is just gorgeous, it looks different in every light. I don't really feel like I'm giving anything up either, it's still very much a flagship. Yeah it would be nice to have macro mode, but I'll live. For my needs, it really is the perfect phone.

Because of poor 12 mini sales, I think Apple already decided there won't be a 14 mini no matter what; not enough time now to develop a 14 mini for a Fall 2022 release. However, if 13 mini has positive sales and reception, Apple could release another "mini" phone in a couple years, similar to the gap between the 2016 SE and 12 mini in 2020. So might as well upgrade to 13 mini now. Really looking forward to getting mine

Like you, I bought the iPhone 13 mini for daily carry and the iPhone 13 Pro to use as an iPod at home. If I travel and need telephoto, I switch to my iPhone 13 Pro. I love having a smaller phone that fits in my coat pocket and it keeps it warm. Mini perfect for active people.

The Mini is the phone for the average iPhone user. It’s the original size of the iPhone. Pro should have been the plus model. 13 and pro max are a waste of time.

I f'n LOVE my 13 mini!!! I genuinely don't believe it'll be the last one. After people get their hands on them they'll grow in popularity. People didn't put hands on the 12 mini and many people who would want a small phone just bought a budget phone. Budget phone people don't upgrade each year. I'm praying to Steve Jobs that the 13 mini gets sold to the point that apple continues the size.

Tbh if they had the 13 mini with everything the pro series has, it would have been game over. Pro max series are just too big, especially if you already have an IPad. If you don’t own an iPad then I understand why you go with the max size

As much as I love my S20FE I eventually came back to my S10E just because I love the portability. I might be sacrificing battery life but I can manage with a powerbank. If i ever were to switch to an iPhone, I would probably choose mini

I still use my S10e as well. I'm seriously thinking about getting the iPhone 13 mini or the regular 13 after my S10e runs out of support. I'm still yet to hold both the regular 13 and 13 mini in my hands, but I'm not really worried about deciding just yet. I'll wait until the time gets a little closer. Still, it's tough to decide because the regular iPhone 13 is only a tiny bit bigger than the S10e.

I have in the house among family an s20fe, pixel 4a5g, iphone 12 mini, iphone 13 pro and an iphone 12 pro. I must say that the 13 pro camera is absolutely great, the s20fe is an all around beast, the 4a5g could have been much better in my opinion but too many "features" missing to make it really really good. The 12 pro is great as well with the 13pro being an upgrade on the camera quality aspect but the phone that feels great in the hand and comfortable to use all day is the 12 mini. So I would imagine that the 13 mini is literally a hybrid of a 12 pro mini which to be honest is not a bad thing.

It's not the size but how you use it 😀 I want the phone to be small/portable for hiking, cycling, motorcycling etc., it must not require much space. For bigger business I have an iPad and a MacBook.

The Apple MagSafe battery is actually designed to be put on the phone in the beginning of the day. It's easier for it to maintain a higher state of charge than it is to charge it up from a lower state.

I’ve noticed I’ve actually lost flexibility in my body, since carrying a larger phone. I stoop down to pick something up, and the phablet in my pocket restricts my movement. Over time, this equates to reduced core muscle use, so my next phone will be a mini if Apple still makes one. I only ever went with the larger form factor, because it’s all that Apple made, but I’m not a fan of phablets.
