📲iPhone 13 Pro FACE ID: Broken Chip? How to REPAIR & DIAGNOSE the ISSUE!

👨‍⚕️Advanced Repair: I was thinking one step ahead. I transplanted the "bad IC" to another DOT out of an iPhone 13 Pro and tried to read it again. Now no more i2c Error and i could save data out of the chip. So the issue was directly in the flex, not in the chip itself.

Actually, it is the flood illuminator that you see. And indeed, if you can see it blink, it will confirm that, from the electrical and software points of view, the whole FaceID system is fine. FaceID could still not work at this point, for optical reasons : alignment of the projector with the lens, or the IR camera sensor that was dirty and then cleaned.

I did same and got the backup write to new jcid cable...dot projector is showing normal but i think ir is damage ...still face id error not showing ir code...dot projector on jcid showing nornal 😢
