The battery life is no joke. I had a day with 10 hours of screen on time, med-low brightness and ended at 50% charge.

Yeah I’ve been using my 512g model and it literally never dies for me. I work all day and rotate shifts and I can get through at least half a week with my usage off of a single charge

Yeah I haven’t got the max version, just the 13 pro and it lasts me around 2 days on casual usage and a full day on heavy usage. Truly amazing

Ordered the 13 Pro Max last week, it’s on back order until November 19th and I’ve been impatiently waiting. Coming off of the iPhone 11 XSMAX and am excited for this upgrade! I agree with this review, having now used my 13 Pro Max for a few weeks. The battery is everything stated and more. I’ve hit it hard all day/night and have not been south of 40% yet. Pro Res kills, but yes, the file size is HUGE. I’m coming from a 12 Pro and this is my first Max version, I couldn’t be happier. Also, I have found Apple support has been better this year then they had been over the past 5 or 6 years. I have a 2021 iPad Pro 12.9” and Apple Watch 7, along with 2 pairs of AirPod Pros (to help me sleep all night, since my girlfriend snores), so I call tech support every now and then, and they have been great.

Bro i have the 12 pro too. The max battery capacity is at 92% and it’s gotten way worse from when it was new. I now charge it multiple times a day. I have been wanting to get the 13 pro max because of its cracked out battery and 120hz. I was gonna wait for the 14 but i feel like the 13 pro max is a good investment

I bought it on release. My frist evner iPhone, android user since 2009 ! It takes a while to get used to the differences in the os, but I do love it. Battery life is amazing, screen is amazing, camera is amazing.

@@HasimFN oh yeah I can never get used to the back button being on the top left of the phone instead of either using the swipe gesture or the three button navigation on the bottom of the phone where it feels more natural iOS has some very weird design choices like when you search with Siri it open some KZbin links in safari still even though you have the KZbin app installed

@@HasimFN To be honest you’re better buying the new pixel phone it is amazing and it is second best alternative for iPhone there are a lot of corks I don’t like about iOS and it’s software for example if you ever want to use Home smart devices you need to use HomePod because it integrates better although Siri doesn’t always work well with lots of things and in the area I live Siri is not good at giving me specific restaurants I ask for where is Google assistant will tell me the closest and best rated Voice typing is also better on android as well as Gboard you have the option of always having number keys at the top where is an iOS you always have to press the button it’s not a choice just think of iOS as being very restrictive for an android do you have choices but be careful because if you buy a cheap android phones you get what you pay for

Just updated my 11 pro max to the 13 promax had it for 4 days now and I love this upgrade love the battery life on this thing I’m a chef and I always have music playing on my AirPods and I go full 7 hours and still have battery at the end of my shift

Decided to grab this and I must say I’m very impressed it’s so nice to have a 120hz display especially with the performance on gaming the cameras are excellent I’m addicted to the macro mode and the battery is insane I took my phone off the charger at 845 pm it’s now 1130 am I still got 55% that’s with super heavy use I’m impressed

Thought i was gonna go 13 mini but damn just for the battery life alone i will return to big phones. 13 pro max is a near absolute unit. Its big, weighty and beautiful. And the glossy black of the camera lens on the sierra blue back is just 🔥. Would have gone with the 13 pro in graphite but the for some reason the 120hz feels more enjoyable and more apparent to my eyes on the bigger pro max display

Had mine since launch and love it. Only been using iPhone since Feb but the 13 Pro Max is the best phone I’ve owned. iOS 15 has some great features too. The battery on this thing is crazy and the cameras are excellent.

@@peterchadhenniker6801 yes. I upgraded from the 12 Pro Max to the 13 and there’s a big enough difference to justify the upgrade. I also think that it’s going to be a great phone for a few years. Especially considering that Apple provides updates for around 5 to 6 years.

@@funkam0nkey I've been on android since about 2010 but ordered this phone. I am absolutely sick of buying a phone for a lot of money to have it unsupported after 2/3 years. I probably prefer the android UI and general feel but the reason Im switching is the 5-6 year support from Apple. It might frustrate me a little at first but hopefully apple just continue to add features that I like from android. The Apple watch is probably the best smartwatch out there and has the best integration with the phone. I was gonna go for the pixel 6 pro but only 3 years of support and pixels have a really poor QC history and many users report issues.

I'm just coming around to seeing this video now that I've decided to get the 13 Pro Max rather than the 14 Pro Max. My Ting carrier service doesn't yet support eSim and the new features on the 14 Pro Max don't make me want to change carriers which because that would entail paying more for monthly service with one of the big service providers. The main thing like about the 13 Pro Max is the video quality which seems to be just as good as the 14 Pro Max. I like your idea of using the Apple Watch as an external monitor, I never would have thought of that!

Went from the iPhone 6s Plus to 13 Pro Max. I now get 5G, waaaaay better camera quality and 120hz. Also bigger screen lol feels good Also, get the 256GB for ProRes on 4K for anyone that cares for video production. The 128GB does not have 4K ProRes. Not sure why that was not clarified as much.

Mark, I upgraded my IPhone 12 Pro w/ 256gb because AT&T gave me $1000.00 on my 12. The trade an IPhone 13 with 512 gb. $300 for the 13 upgrade was a no brainer for me. Ie A15 faster processor, 256 gb more storage the 120hz display and about 85 minutes increase in battery + the slightly better cameras.

For someone who has an iPhone 12 Pro Max, I’m considering upgrading to an iPhone 13 Pro, mainly for the weight alone. Has anyone here been in this situation? I don’t leave the house a lot, since I’m working remote, but when I do go out and I’m wearing gym shorts or something similar, sometimes I feel like there’s so much weight it’s weighing down my shorts and makes them slip down. Obviously that isn’t a problem when I wear regular shorts, etc, but when I’m at home it’s definitely noticeable and I find myself even putting my phone in the top part of a buggy when at Target, etc. I do love the huge screen and battery life, and battery life is important to me, but I’m also getting an iPad Pro in about a month so I don’t know if that will help with browsing when I want to. Currently, I use my phone for everything from web browsing to social media, photos, and looking stuff up and media consumption. I do use it a lot on the go and don’t know if I’d miss the battery life in the long term, but If anyone has any tips or has been in this situation, I’d definitely appreciate it!

I look at it this way, buy the 13 pro max if you don’t have any large media consumption devices, such as iPad or MacBook. If you do have those, you should consider getting the smaller size for everyday tasks. Although, I am a hypocrite because I have an iPad and iMac and am still rocking the 13 pro max. I do find the weight slightly annoying in certain situations. You can notice the weight difference from 12 pro max to 13 pro max, but it is minimal. If you feel like the 12 pro max is just too big, buy the 13 pro.

Coming from a Galaxy s21 ultra, the size difference is nice, easier to hold, not as heavy or bulky in my pocket and fits nicely in my pocket. iOS being super optimized makes the battery life great not as good as the max but still great I've had days with 6 hours screen on time and 40% battery left. Go with your gut, and enjoy your new phone 😎😁

Ive had my iphone 7 plus since it came out, just ordered mine and im so excited for it😀 btw if you guys plan to get a new phone just wait 3-4 to get a new phone to save up money and to use it while it lasts. Edit: a new phone will always come out every year, so dont waste your life savings just getting a slight upgrade.

I honestly don't know how people can't tell a difference! if me and my partner watch something and the framerate is awful i notice it instantly but she can't see it... when i went from 60hz 1080p to 144hz 1440p it blew me away! i honestly could never go back, 120hz is acceptable as well though. 60hz on Iphones is a bit slow after you use 120hz displays but IOS is really smooth so it is less noticable like if i turn off adaptive refresh on my s21 ultra i can tell immediately and find it horrible but on my 11 pro max it never felt like it was quite 60hz.

Upgraded from xs max Usually get home with 0-20 battery now I actually get home at 50-60 percent plus I finally have wide angle and 120hz and all that good stuff

This is my first iPhone ever after using Android for years, and right after my favorite phone, the OnePlus 7 Pro. I have to say, the 120hz and insane battery life is incredible. If they stay this way I might have to get another one down the road.

Same for me I've been using Samsung phones since my very first phone a Samsung captivate glide. The latest Samsung I used was the note 9 but I thought It was finally time to give apple a try and I'm getting my iPhone 13 pro max in the mail soon!

@@MirfromMBLAQ I started as an avid Apple user up until the iPhone 5 released. Since then I've had the S6 Edge, S9+, and S21 Ultra. I love my Samsungs, and their technology has always been top tier. However, Apple is finally catching up. The refresh rate is finally there, camera is phenomenal, screen size is good, and widgets were FINALLY added lol. All I'm waiting on is for the notch to be removed, and potentially an in-screen finger print sensor like my S21 Ultra. Once the notch is gone, I'm down to try Apple again. Hoping the iPhone 14 does it.

Can you prevent Video background blur on the iphone 13 pro/max? I prefer fixed focus for the entire video most times, bigger censors make this difficult. Someone said they prefer the 12 promax because it doesn’t blur the background as much, us this true? Thanks 🙏
