Very good concept. I would like to request the below - These days many beginners would like to start their KZbin channel using a phone as this. Which would mean talking videos indoors. It would be great if you could do iPhone video test in indoors both in artificial and natural light using it as a studio camera of sorts. No color grading or filters etc And maybe the same thing if you get a regular 15 too Thank you very much About 2 years back, I got the sony zv1 due to your videos. I still use it and am in love with it.

I plan to use mine for travel vlogging and want it simple but with high quality. I dont plan on using LOG so i dont have to color grade. What settings should i have it on? Or what were your settings on these clips, lets say for the 4k 24 fps. Were you just shooting HDR?

Video looks amazing. I feel like something about the motion blur of the video just seems off to me. Maybe the shutter speed of the camera itself with computational algorithm behind it?

Hmm, I used cinematic mode quite a bit. Maybe your picking up on that digital blur? It can inconsistent with a lot of movement

Great shots! Love the post: simple to the point and effective! Well done!!! Question(s) 🤔 I am confused regarding the codecs... I even asked the Apple staff and they didn't know! I have the 14 pro, getting the 15 pro soon, 1-When the Iphone shoots cinematic mode: is that HDR Dolby as default ? or it depends if we turn HDR off or ON in the settings menu options... 2- the regular "video" mode of the camera: is by default HDR Dolby (or it depends as well of the settings...?) and finally 3- ProRess and Log: these codecs are not HDR Dolby correct, or are they? Hope is not too confusing of a question... I honestly was given different answers 🤔 I'd love to get some clarity on this! Thanks again! cheers! ;)

Yes all shot on the iPhone 15 Pro. I think the Pro and Pro max are the same other than the telephoto lens on the pro max

That would be great. I think it lacks when it comes to indoor studio lighting so maybe you would want to get a bigger censored camera

It’s a sad day. I do real estate video for a living and just for fun I shot the same video on my iPhone 15 against my a7siii and I had a group of people at my office choose which they liked better (bare in mind we did this on a 65 inch 4k tv) sadly out of 12 of us everyone except for one other person all liked the iPhone footage better because it was “brighter”. Most people gravitate towards the HDR brightened look. Unless you’re into video or a cinematographer yourself the average user prefers the look and feel of iPhone footage. It’s a sad reality.

Hello quick question for you is there any improvement in 4k video quality when zoomed in to 3x? I have a 14 pro and the quality is trash when in 3x

I’d say no improvement. The zoom in gets pretty grainy

I’d say ZV I/II would be better for more control and quality but iPhone is so nice for portability. Always surprised at how good iPhone video ends up coming out

If you watch it on a computer screen you will understand iphone's quality is nothing compared to even a outdated mirrorless camera of sony. This is only good for viewing in small screens.
