iPhone 15 Pro Has A USB-C Problem

My iPhone 15 has a weird USB-C problem. It charges inconsistently, sometimes with a delay, and it doesn't matter if I flip the cable. Even worse, Apple DOESN'T give you the USB 3 cable needed for the fastest data transfer speeds that the Pro/Pro Max models are supposed to have.
Samsung does this, too! You MUST buy a separate cable to get the speeds you paid for. This is a significant oversight, even if not everyone needs high-speed transfers.
What do YOU think? Is this acceptable? Should Apple/Samsung be more transparent about this?

For my iPhone if you slightly move the phone the cable falls out. The cables wiggles inside the port and yes I’ve had the port cleaned multiple times.

@@ImJustVibin nope. Also if the charger isn’t In perfect position it won’t charge. Major pain in the bass. Thankfully wireless charging works.

In short, guys! I had a wire falling out of the socket, just like many people. I checked my wife's phone with the same one, she's clean, I'm like a bachelor at home. I cleaned everything up to a shine, the charging stood up perfectly as on a new one, the issue is resolved

the port on mine is super sensitive. one of the usb-c adapters i use is constantly losing connection even though it's still plugged in. i have no problems with it on any of my other devices, only the iphone has this issue and it's super frustrating

My 15 Pro Max doesn’t charge using 20W apple charger or recognised by my MacBook. The cable that comes with the phone will charge on usb2/3 power only.

I’m going to trade mine in today for a 14, charging port has failed. I hope they switch back to the lightning cable for the 16

I am one of the people that does that! Sure I have 512 internal storage but much of that is taken up with music. No, I don't use spotify or any other platform, I prefer to be able to listen to music regardless of location. Any photos or footage I shoot I dump them off as soon as possible, sure I could pay for unlimited cloud but you know what, I don't want to which is why I miss the external storage option on my Samsung and why, for one of the first times ever, I am incredibly jealous of the iPhone and its ability to record direct to an external drive.

my phone had the same issue, at first it only charge one side then it wont charge at all, now im only charging with wireless, maybe can someone tells me how to fix it

I have had nothing but problems trying to get this usb-c port to be consistent on my iphone 15. it's ridiculous. this should be a very straight-forward thing for a company to implement. i can't believe how bad this is. my mics have been giving me issues because of the cord. same thing with my damned usb hub. ridiculous.

I just use the beefy usbc cable that came with my 2017 MacBook Pro as it’s like 6 feet long. Never had an issue. Not sure the speed of the cable. Sounds like your port might have an issue. I’d get a replacement from Apple.

The cable most likely has USB2 transfer speeds, which is okay as long as you are not planning to move large files. I've confirmed with others the same USB-C port issue. It's also random and not every device. They most likely rushed this here for EU regulations, and I would expect future iterations to not have this type of issue. I'm sure they were not happy about having to do but it's better for consumers if we get to the same port. Now we just need to make it so we all get the same features from this port, lol.

My problem with my iPhone 15 whenever i'm charging my phone then it will stop and there will be a notification showing Liquid detected. It has been a month being like this. I already done everything and the apple care support did nothing.

This really does matter it’s so important the people who work honestly that like I talk to you whenever getting new iPhones every couple years, don’t even know this level of like knowledge and it matters I would’ve gotten the pro max if I knew because one the camera and I and I didn’t even know that it would charge faster and I had no idea about the cord. I didn’t even understand Nick it’s should be illegal because so many people have bad vision or can’t read like on screens I think that there should be laws against like these super small hidden you know details and then clarification for people who don’t know that if you spend the small amount or you can get something and I have to worry about multiple things as well as like you know, guarantees and warrantees and things that say that you know and fine print where we’re selling our souls all the time and all our information which is totally different topic. I really think we need to put laws in place to protect people Because, I mean I can’t even like read that like I did a lot of research and I did not even come across but I’ve noticed the same thing with my iPhone 15 Pro that it also will like charge the battery pack like the cord that I have but then it won’t charge my iPhone but now recently it’s been starting to again. I have always kept the factory cable in the box and bought a pack a USB C 3.2 cables separately and that's when the Galaxy S10 came out. So I've always had the faster speeds from the beginning, Apple users should take some notes. Before anyone says anything snarky the cable that comes in the box is usually a cable that falls apart after a year or 2 and that's across all phones and other devices.
