Great video and superb cinematography. My interaction with Freewell after purchasing the Sherpa system for my iPhone 15 Pro Max has been quite disgusting. The lenses do not sit securely and wobble. I raised this in the hope it was just the case but after detailed explanations and photo I simply got two line emails not responding to my questions but requesting I do more and more work, like the request to make a video. The emails are designed to waste my time and give up. How are your lenses, do the move easily or wobble?

I haven't had any problems with my Freewell Sherpa filters. I haven't purchased any of the lenses yet, but with both my iPhone 14 and my iPhone 15, I've had no issues. From a phone this is great, even amazing. However the lens coating has to be fixed on iPhone to reduce glare. Samsung s23 Ultra and an other phone I can't remember has it reduced. Again, this looks great and I wouldn't even think twice that this wasn't shot on a real camera.

Thanks a lot dude, I am totally new to filming stuff and simply looking for small guidelines to improve my videos. So H265 is fine quality-wise I guess since your videos looked pretty amazing. Everyone was telling me I HAD to use ProRes but the file sizes simply are so gigantic and I really dont want to carry a ssd with me all the time to spontaniously film some random stuff. Also thanks a lot for the LUTs you provided. I like your stuff and tbh if you would put together a whole pack in the future I'd gladly pay a few bucks for it to support you.

@@NOlimitsON ofc, I find such videos incredibly interesting, yet I myself really only film basic stuff. So I got one question: what would be your approach to get good results without using gimbals etc? I film 99% on vacation or when a random situation occurs and I usually dont carry gear with me. I thought about just getting a filter, because I have zero experience with extra lenses and if they work with the iphone stabilization...which I really really need for many shots. :D

Gee this is impressive. I'm guessing less than $5k of gear all up and it looks a million buck$, kudos man! I'm wondering, would use the snow mist filter on the phone if you were also cutting together with footage from a Canon R5 and GoPro 12/Insta360? Also, If cinematic mode doesn’t work in log - how do you create the shallow depth of field with log footage?
@NOlimitsON5 ай бұрын
Thanks bro) appreciate it) I can easily cut footage in Apple log with any Sony camera without a snow-mist filter, so I guess you can also mix and match it with Canon R5. As far as shallow depth of field - use 1x camera and get closer to the object - that’s the only way basically
@LordMaisky5 ай бұрын
@@NOlimitsON Will keep that in mind with the 1x camera - so I'm guessing if you attach the 70mm telephoto that helps a lot to create that depth of field with the subject in the foreground. Also, I meant to clarify - if you leave the snow mist filter on the phone would it cut together with DSLR footage, or would you take the snow mist filter off the phone to do this...? (Or conversely, would you prefer to put a snow most filter on a DSLR if the phone has one on?)

While I understand that some of the criticism regarding low light photography on a phone might be lacking in comparison to an actual camera, don't forget that the phone is primarily a communication device.
