Very nice video! One thing no other talk about is that subtly curved front and back glass. Its different from the perfectly flat glass from the 12-14 series and it kinda reminds me of the 2.5D glass from the iPhone 6/7/8 series! Very nice little touch.

Why are thanking Apple for USB-C?! Lightning to USB-C wasn't "amazing" move by Apple itself! European Union forced change to standardize the charging format. Otherwise, iPhones still would use lightning port.

the main reason i love my 15 pro max is the user experience. when i used the s23 ultra there where a whole bunch of small things that felt "meh" like for example how the camera app lags when zooming quickly

I really didn’t like the titanium color so I opted for the Black. I’m coming from the blue 13 Pro Max which is the best color iPhone ever. Didn’t think the jump would be noticeable and I can say the cameras are way better plus have more options (raw, ProRes, 24MM, 5 times zoom up to 15 times to name a few). The Dynamic Island is meh, still in the way like the notch. The action button is my ringer still, they need to make it able to do multiple actions. Long press for ringer, double tap for flashlights, etc. What makes this phone or iPhones better has been ios18. I’m on 18.1 with some unlocked Apple Intelligence. It’s a bit snappier than past iPhones and I’ll be skipping the 16 series when released.

I love my 15 pro max however I’m not a fan of the x5 camera. I find image quality is a bit flat and not always focussed and lacks sharpnesses. Perhaps in good lighting it is better.

I think a long term review should be a summary of all the new features and how they’re used past the marketing fluff (aka day to day). Also battery life, if it stayed the same Bugs, hardware issues USB-C features in this case He got most of the point right but tbh. For things like camera, screen, battery size, features… there are already dozens of videos released on day one, no need to repeat unless it’s an issue or an improvement.

I used android phone basically since they dropped. I started with the first Motorola defy, then the S3, the S7edge and on your recommondation the 20fe. Last year I wanted to change that. I already used an iPad Air 4 on the daily. I liked the OS. One day before you dropped your day in the life video I ordered the 15PM - despite all controversies. And I couldn‘t be happier with the purchase. The phone is built like a tank, the battery lasts and lasts and lasts, great performance, unbelievable camera experience. Just - as you said - peak iPhone, peak smarthphone even. Only thing that pisses me off is auto correction while writing… it is really bad still.

As an iphone 15 pro max user as well, i have to say it is fast/smooth af, the cameras are great even the night mode is GREAT both at selfies and at the rear camera section! And the battery is great most of the times but i have to admit that it isnt that consistent.. some days i have like 2 or 2,5 hours of screen on time and it drains like 50% of the battery, but i think it is mostly of the spotify usage in the background.. but other days IT IS SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER. 50% in 5,5 or even 6 hours of screen on time. But at average, screen on time is around 8hours as apple has stated, but too inconsistent for me. Some days i feel great and confident about the battery life and other days not so muchh

Hi Canoopsy, should I trade in to the 15 Pro Max or wait for the 16 Pro Max? Currently have the 14 Pro which has 92% battery health after a year, poor battery life, laggy and buggy experience and stuttering scrolling.

Its not the phone, its the software. I have the 15 pro and the new 17.3.1 update is making the horizontal scroll stutter. Honestly stick with what you have, you wont see the smoothness unless we get a super stable iOS which i doubt iOS 18 is going to be :)

Then, what would you choose to do?

Since the recent leaks showed it will be like 200mha higher but also there is another 2 leaks of stacked battery feature and a better and more power efficiency OLED screen. My most important priorities are battery life and a stable iOS software. Also, I’m thinking of switching back to the pro max for the first time since my previous 12PM.
