I had the very first iPhone up to the 8 and then switched to Samsung and even tried a Pixel. I stuck with Samsung up to the S22 Ultra, and loved the phone, but noticed that iPhone had finally got most of the options I had been waiting for. I.E... Usb C, 120hz display, AOD, Widgets etc... I just switched back and pre ordered the iPhone pro max. As someone that has owned both, I can honestly say that they are both great phones. I do miss some 3rd party apps, accessories and some customization, but for the most part it's been a pretty smooth transition and I love the phone. Honestly, they are vey similar now and both offer a great experience. Knowing both systems is an advantage for both phones, because you can try and take the best of both platforms and apply it to whichever phone you currently have. I currently have google and 3rd party apps on my iPhone, and it's been pretty seamless thus far. Google is better at some things and Apple is better at other things. All in all, these phone companies always trying to be the best is a win for all of us moving forward, because we can always choose what we want. From someone that has switched back and forth, just get whichever phone appeals to you the most in the future. Familiarize yourself with both platforms and choose whichever phone you want moving forward. 😁

I was a Samsung user who recently switched to iPhone. I hate how limited the iPhone is, disturbing my productivity flow. I'm thinking about switching back to Android phone and looking for other option like Pixel. I thought Pixel might be a better option since I used a lot of Google products (e.g. Drive) but based on your comment you prefer Samsung. May I have your opinion about the comparison between Pixel and Samsung?

@@vandhiraliang2906 both are great and I enjoyed having the pure android experience on the pixel. I have a feeling Samsung is going to ditch android one day and have a seamless tizen/one Ui similar to what apple does. Face ID didn’t work for you when you wake up or got out the shower? Tf?
@miks564 Жыл бұрын
For me, Face ID is one of the best things the iPhone offers. We even forget there's any locking feature there. Plus he learns to recognize our face even when we grow beard and can even see us in the dark. But something I would miss much more, would be the smooth of operation and lack of concern with whatever Apps I've running in the background. One day I've found myself with more than 45 Apps opened in the background. Why someone may ask? Did I need them? Nope, It's just that I forget them. We don't feel any load on the system because of them. There are no crashes, not stutter, no noticeable battery drain. The only time an iPhone user restarts the phone, is when there's an upgrade. Another major thing that I like is that I can easily run my iPhone for more than 4 years, always getting the latest iOS updates. And the processing power is still plenty enough to keep the phone running fast and smooth.

I was so close on ordering the S23U earlier this year, but a bad experience with yet another Samsung product (a monitor this time) made me think twice. I've never had a Samsung device not needing RMA or not dying right after the warranty ended, so after a decade of using Android devices, I went with an iPhone. We'll see if this will push me back to Android or not, but so far it has been great (minus the stupid keyboard limitations of iOS). I'd say the biggest upgrade to me coming from Android was the quality of speakers and the insanely well implemented stereo image while watching movies, for example. Great phones both of them, though. Just personal reasons why I'd like to stay away from products of Samsung Electronics.
@djplonghead5403 Жыл бұрын
lol, thanks for brining that up. I always forget how much I hate my iPhone keyboard until I use a Samsung. Also the new iOS predictive text and blue underline when it autocorrects is rather annoying.
@The.JZA. Жыл бұрын
Agreed, the speakers on iPhones are fantastic. Most reviewers just turn the music up to maximum and blast them into a microphone and then say "they sound about the same" or "This one is louder" but that is useless. When you actually hold them in your hands and use them at normal listening volumes, iPhones have so much bass and clarity. Especially when playing games like Diablo Immortal or COD Mobile, you hear so much more and it sounds way more full on iPhones. I have tried switching back to Android a few times in the last couple of years so I have had the opportunity to compare side by side the iPhone XS vs Note 20 Ultra, iPhone XS vs Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, iPhone 13 Pro vs Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro vs S22 Ultra and every time the iPhones sounded way better even though they were much smaller phones. When you crank the volume to max then I would say the Mi 11 Ultra sounded the best but for normal listening volumes with the phone in your hands and like 30-40cm away from your face, the iPhone was way better, no contest. Also on your note about Samsung reliability; I bought a Samsung S95 65" OLED TV a few months ago and before that I had a 55" much cheaper LG TV for about 4 years. The LG ran flawlessly the whole time and I only upgraded because I wanted OLED. So far the Samsung, on 4-5 occasions, has turned on to a black screen and been completely unresponsive for minutes. The longest I had to wait was about 15 minutes one time before the TV finally came back. It is worrying for a TV that had a RRP of ~$6500 NZD. I got it on a massive sale so only paid $3200 NZD but still, it's a lot of money for a TV that seems to be very unreliable.

I'm not a pro when it comes to photography and video recording. But personally I like the video recordings of the Samsung. I like the sharp, clear images instead of the softer shots of the iPhone.

The 45W charging on the Samsung is practically a lie. It’s more like 30W, and the iPhone hits 25W consistently. So it’s a lot closer than you might think.

I think Samsung needs to completely redesign their One UI skin and add all the features that are missing and make their animations even more smooth and modern.

10:48 pretty ugly blooming around the plants on the 12MP due to HDR on the S23U. A lot better quality in this regard on the iPhone.

Hi , I’m looking to change my phone to a phone that would be good for content creation, which would you recommend the 15 pro max or the Samsung s24 ultra? Thanks for your reply
@prabhavkaula9697 Жыл бұрын
Please do compare the Pixel 8 Pro since it has been significantly refreshed and has the long term support for the software and the hardware which can rival both Samsung and Apple's offerings.
@zezzex-8821 Жыл бұрын
I can respect the Pixel Pro, but the processor is significantly slower compared to Samsung and Apple.

ok so my opinion is ...1st not a lot of people know how to color grade or pro res. But at the same time, apple is making these phones that suit youtubers cause then they know people would think these phones are better and hence boost sales. Smart! desgining products for social media people and the sheep follows

An FYI about 3nm's efficiency improvements. Using TSMC's own nymbers, the gains compared to the N4P process used on the A16 is literally about 7%. As crazy complex as lithography processes are, if u just look into the actual performance claims u can see it's hardly noteworthy. Oh yeah speaking of marketing hype, not a single dimension of a "3nm" or any remotely recent manufacturing process is close to as small as the name. As a slightly simpler version besides actual dimensions that confirm this, you can see from the quoted densities anyway. 3nm is about 50% more dense than 5nm but the name would suggest it should be (5/3)² or ~2.8x more dense. That's the other reason these new nm reductions, especially with 4 and 3nm have been so negligible as the names are continually straying even further away from the actual improvements.

Is screen dimming @ 5% on the s23 a dig? That's just a feature, at least mine always dims at 5% and you can override it by just changing the brightness as you normally would
@nari5161 Жыл бұрын
vs the tendency of iphones to dim during games/overheating, like it's a different thing unless the s23U dimmed from overheating coincidentally at 5%

7:51 - I have to disagree and say the S23 looks way better despite being a little too sharp. The iphone seems blurry and overexpose everthing. I still prefer it in general though.

On my 13 pro still, have been an Apple fanboy my WHOLE LIFE since the iPod. However, I’m being really enticed by Samsung recently especially with the expected S24 coming out soon with AI possibly. I always loved the hardware of Apple more but the software of Samsung more. Wondering if I should just wait for the 16 or just give in and get an S24

My last phones were iphone 14 pro max and pixel 7 pro. I thought these were the best phones out there. But...then i try s23 ultra... I just sell both of them and keep that samsung monster that could make anything possible!!! Its runs flowless on everything without crashing or slowing down on gaming like 14 pro max!!!! It has a superior camera with really usefull 10x zoom, an spen that im using it everyday day and some times i use samsung dex that turn my phone to a pc, connecting it wireless with my smart tv!!!! I can even turn on my lights on my house just by moving up and down my spen!!! For me its really impossible to change my s23 ultra to something else... Well... Im gonna change it with s24 ultra...
