Shame they didn't give you the original style adhesive. I haven't done one of these yet so this good to watch. I'm loving how few screws there were!

Also the cable on the screen you mentioned, that is the light sensor. Not associated with Face ID, as the sensors are integrated to a single unit (front camera, true depth etc.) since the 13 series.

Another great video my friend. I was look at some of the updated programmers where you can do it for the camera as well

Use the hexagon metal piece of qianli in the corner, it’s much safer as you can damage the OLED ribbon cable which folds at the bottom of the screen where you open the “gap”.

I have a ipad pro gen 2 12.9. Battery decreases quickly. Can you replace this battery for me.?.

Could also be something on the motherboard, check the battery health first. On mac: coconut battery, on windows: 3utools

I still don’t get why people use metal tools to open iPhones
@mr.illuminat12 ай бұрын
If you’re connected to Apple or partnered, you’ll then get the machines that do this for you. But regularly, using metal to just pry up the screen is just easier in the process of repairing.

@@mr.illuminat1 I do repair iPhones and it’s just unnecessary to use those tools. When I work on previously repair phones they always have scratch marks from metal tools
