I got the 15 after comparing all of the recent models. I don’t care about 120Hz, and don’t need the telephoto lens, especially because of the 2x zoom on the 15. And I never needed an extra custom button. I had a 14 pro (lost it), and it proved unwieldy for me personally, even though I loved the screen size and battery life.

I cant go back to the regular iPhone after having a Pro iphone. I am currently using the 15 Pro Max 512GB in Black Titanium and I love it. The camera is amazing and the games look great (although I am not a gamer).

I bought a 15 pro max and i previously had a samsung note and a huawei mate. I never used the always on display on my previous phones and i still don’t on my new iphone. It’s a stupid way to waste your battery.

you can turn it off completely! just go to settings if you dont know how search for a relevant video in youtube, there will definitely be one! and yes it consumes much battery around 10% as i have seen in some videos etc

I always make it to the end of your videos, Terren!. I have a 14 Pro Max and love some features, but the unwieldy weight and size made it a hassle to lug around in my pocket. I went to the other extreme and purchased a 13 mini for maximum portability and have used it about 6 months. It is a great phone but just a little too small for holding and viewing in bed, when I often use it for tracking the market and making trades. The screen is just a tad too small for this activity that is important to me. Otherwise I adore the 13 mini. SO...I am seriously thinking that the iPhone 15 will probably be my sweet spot for the combination of value, portability and screen size. Kudos on another home run video. You provide packed information, a warm vibe, clear presentation, and excellent pacing throughout your videos.

I like your videos. You’re always on point and also take great photos of our beautiful city. The thing with Apple is that they give you quite a bit on the lower end models but it’s always those few features that are potentially game changer that could make you feel like you miss out. Like the x5 on the max for example.

This was a really good video for me. It's starting to get time for a new phone (currently on XR) and there have been so many added features that I haven't been paying attention to over the years. In the other review videos, I have no idea if I should actually care about/need all of the specific features that they talk about. lol This was broken down simply.

Adding my 2 cents to this conversation I think the 2 or 3 things that you can live without by purchasing the base iPhone 16 start to accumulate to the point you might as well just buy the Pro, you’re going to live with this device for at least 2 years of your life if you are most normal people. When I think of it that way what’s 300$, I would buy those cheaper devices for my grandkids or a relative who is uninterested in tech but not for myself

Just try to consider if the Pro features are something you want, I updated from a Xiaomi 9T to an iPhone 15 Pro, but the price difference is huge so for you just really consider if the 120 hz, the telephoto camera and better chip/ longer support are worth the money

@@TheBS970 one of the main things I’m looking at is overall longevity as well, I usually keep my devices for about 5-6 years in most cases. What makes me lean towards the plus is the ridiculous battery life. Likewise, what leans me to the pro max is the telephoto lens and having that 120ghz. I feel like next years plus would probably come with 120ghz so perhaps going for the pro would make me feel more up to date when or if they decide to do so.

@@D0NDIDO I am in the same boat of keeping a phone for around 5 years, and from what I've seen online the battery life of the Plus and Pro Max is very similar with the latest updates, I honestly would go with the Pro Max if I were in your shoes, mainly because it will last longer with an extra year of updates and it's better overall

The avg consumer cares more about the latest, and the logo. Specs are mostly irrelevant.

@@MiahVega Specs limitations about the screen and usb-c dont make sense for me when i can get a good 400-500$ smartphone without those limitations or even better a smartphone at the same price than iPhone 15. if average Apple consumer don't want to think, ok, it's up to them. I'm keen to buy an iPhone if it's a Pro model and that's what i did. I use both iOS and Android: it's first a smartphone and i think an average consumer should concentrate more on spending money on a good smartphone with a right price, without any brand loyalty. I take my time before buying a new smartphone. That’s my opinion.

I've had a One Plus 7 Pro (super rare in the US to own) for 2 years and Pixel 6 Pro (To give Google a chance) due to bugs and constant freezes, I switched to a 13 Pro Max. I couldn't care less about the status of a phone lol. But tha't not the reality of the average apple consumer. The reality is that the ecosystem gives 'Status', even if you have the lower models of everything. Status around phones, laptops etc, has boggled me for yearsss, but now I get it. It's just that Apple has a huge psychological grip on its users, "Buy this to be normal and fit in like the rest" kind of culture. I've gotten judged more times than I could count for owning a Oneplus - a brand no one even knows existed, but I care about top tier value vs. status.

Behave Terren, Action button, Always on (which means stand by mode works as it should) Pro motion, higher peak brightness, much better Processor (which will get future AI features) Better quality materials....the battery, yes you get 30 min more on the standard 15, but so what. The cameras are also better, with a lot more options, especially pro log and off course you get the brilliant action button. The Pro's are always far better, then the standard phones, they are cheaper, but always with compromises! I've just upgraded my 13 Pro to 15 Pro, mainly for the better, sharper photos, stand by mode, always on display , the action button and the future proofed processor, also the weight reduction....all in all very happy with my choice 😊
