Welcome to the family. There is a learning curve and you’ll find it works how you want it to about 70% of the time but if you can get past the 30% of annoyance where it doesn’t you’ll love it. I recommend tutorial videos on how to use the iPhone if you ever get frustrated on the clean yet confusing interface. KZbin is full of those and I recommend anything Apple like the AirPods to integrate yourself into the ecosystem. The 70% of times where it works like it’s supposed to is like a dream.

If possible keep your Android; I have both and there are times where I get kind of fed up with either OS and switch to the other for a little while.

I really don't like the colour options for the Pro models this year. However, I like the action button and the change to Titanium is nice. Would go for the natural Titanium colour if I was upgrading - which I am most likely not.

They could at least give it 90hz. 60 is just sad. ProMotion is a silly name anyway when other flagship phones have had 120hz for years. It's practically a standard now not an extra. I'm honestly more surprised about the usb 2.0 port. Talk about putting a handicap on a phone just so you can charge more for the other option🤦🏻‍♂️

It’s not notifications, it’s real time summaries. If you have a flight, basketball game on, Uber, music, for me I have a baby app, it shows you meaningful information while you’re on your phone without having to go to that app. It’s one of those things if you haven’t used it then you won’t understand it. Merely sitting in a store and playing with it for 5 minutes doesn’t really show you anything. I also have an S23U and I do miss the dynamic island sometimes for certain tasks. Is it end all be all and I have to have it? No but it’s nice

The usb-c is enough to warrant upgrading. I use the Beats Studio buds and the apple comps already used USBC, so now you don’t need lightening cables at all!

Having witnessed Apple’s transformative journey since the iPhone 1, it’s both nostalgic and somewhat disheartening to see the current trajectory. Where once Apple was a beacon of pioneering innovation, now it seems to be navigating safer, iterative waters. Siri, among other offerings, doesn’t seem to match the groundbreaking spirit Apple was synonymous with. My loyalty to this brand is deep-rooted, but the diminishing trailblazing ethos is palpable. True, but it was possible before. For a business with the revenue and profits like Apple, if somebody can do it, they should be able to as well. This is only my personal opinion :) A premium price should be equal to the best innovation and quality of the product, and the gap from others is barely there.

USB C, more powerful CPU, more powerful GPU, more ram, more powerful ML cores, new telephoto sensor and lens as well as 3D sensor shift, new anti reflective coating on the main lens, a new ISP that enables a whole slew of new software features for the camera including HDR5, 24mp photos, 48MP HEIF etc as well as the customisable action button, New refined shape/frame and yes, it’s all wrapped up in the very nice titanium body. Sounds like a pretty awesome upgrade for anyone on a 13 Pro or older. Dunno what you are expecting… Rocket thrusters?

Thank you for the comparison video. I can understand that one pays a bit more for the Max for size and zoom but why does the Pro Max gets 100% focus pixels and the Pro only get 6% focus pixels on the telephoto camera? iPhone Pro 15 was VERY attractive but... not anymore to me and I am not interested in caring a Max in my pocket anytime soon so a hard pass for me this year.

15 pro max to replace my 14 pro max which replaced my 13 pro max which replaced my 12 pro max… Just like when I had android phones and upgraded every year, or the iPhones before I went android for a few years. After about a year of heavy use I always notice the decline in battery health and it’s either spend money on a replacement battery(no way I would let it get down to what applecare considers for replacement) or I just get a new phone. Things that don’t matter to me: non pro has usb 2.0 - not the one I’m buying so I don’t care. No high speed charging - as long as my phone lasts from 730 am until 9pm I’m good. Much like my car, my phone charges primarily at night, while I sleep and am not using it. Plus my current iPhone is worth more to trade now than it will be next year.

Aside from USB-C, none of the new “features” actually effect my life in a productive way. I’m guessing any meaningful change will only arrive with the iPhone 20 or something. And personally I think the iPhone’s design from X to the current 15 looks really ugly.

If you want the best, buy Pro. That's Apple's goal. Also, did you know the 1st ever Satellite call was made by a S22 Ultra? Free! Well, as Grandpa would say. "Same Ole', Same Ole'" Apple is Profit Focused Only. They apparently do not listen to their customers. Don't get me started on the "Carbon Free" environment stuff.. 😂 Nothing like buying carbon made Solar Panels & Covering the Earth with them! Child Slave Labor! (All batteries of course) Once you have an iPhone for a bit, you know everything about it. I'm still learning about my S22 Ultra & I've had it since it's release! I wish Apple would have high end specs on each device screen sizes. I don't always like to get the biggest phone just to get all the features. Having bigger size screen is not a feature.
